The Elimination Chamber takes place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 8 and this should see all pieces join together to what will happen at WrestleMania.
Not all the matches have been confirmed for the Elimination Chamber at the time of writing, but we do know that six WWE women superstars will get into the chamber and fight for the right to face WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.
Who will come out on top?
Natalya vs Liv Morgan vs Shayna Baszler vs Asuka vs Ruby Riott vs Sarah Logan – Elimination Chamber Match
Looking at the wrestlers in this Elimination Chamber match, it seems only two women are actually capable of winning this match. In my opinion, they are Shayna Baszler and Asuka. The smart money would be on Shayna Baszler to win because they have already teased a rivalry between Baszler and Lynch on TV. Once showdown saw the former UFC fighter attack ‘The Man’ and leave her bloodied after biting her on the neck. Now to do something as sickening as that on TV tells me they are setting up a rivalry that will end at Mania. Now, that might also not be the case. The WWE tend to throw curveballs at their fans. When you want a rivalry to happen and you think it will good for business, someone changes the script and books matches that not everyone is fond of. They might do that here by booking Asuka in the Main Event. Asuka is a great wrestler and former SmackDown Women’s Champion, while she has also had feuds with Lynch in the past. If they don’t go down the Lynch-Baszler route for Mania, then this match will definitely happen. The rest of the field is quite strong, but at this moment in time I do not feel the WWE fully support the likes of Natalya, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott or Sarah Logan to be the face of the company. Baszler is the odds-on favourite to win this one, as it makes total business sense.
