Dave Kuzio: Back over 6 goals during Florida Panthers at Chicago Blackhawks @ 5/6 Betvictor

Chicago Blackhawks play host to Florida Panthers in the early GMT hours of Wednesday morning. The Hawks are currently on a run of five successive wins and head into this clash on the back of a stunning 5-2 win against Winnipeg Jets.

Chicago are finding the net quite frequently as they have scored 22 goals in their last five matches – a phenomenal effort. They go up against a Panthers outfit who are also not shy in hitting the back of the net. They recently fired eight past Toronto Maple Leafs, while they also scored four goals in both wins over LA Kings and Detroit Red Wings.

We expect this to be a goal fest in the Windy City and we are backing for this game to have over six goals scored by the end of the third period.

Dave Kuzio: Back Watford to beat Tranmere Rovers and both teams to score @ 2/1 Betfred

The FA Cup continues on Thursday and Watford have a second bite at the cherry to make it to round four when they travel to take on League One strugglers Tranmere Rovers.

Premier League outfit Watford looked to be cruising into the fourth round of the FA Cup when these two met on January 4 as they led 3-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Tom Dele-Bashiru, Nathaniel Chalobah and Roberto Pereyra. That should have been enough to see the Hornets through, but an amazing comeback from Rovers saw them force a replay thanks to three second-half goals. Connor Jennings gave them hope in the 65th minute before Manny Monthe made it 3-2 to set up a tense finish. Tranmere completed the comeback with three minutes to go when Paul Mullin scored from the penalty spot after Corey Blackett-Taylor was brought down.

You shouldn’t be throwing away a 3-0 lead at home and we believe Watford will have learned from their mistakes. Premier League survival is their main aim this year, but this should be another quality game and we expect both teams to get on the score sheet with the Hornets just edging through to face Manchester United.

Today’s Best Bet: Friday, January 24

Dave Kuzio: Back Northampton Saints to beat London Irish by 8-14 points @ 11/4 Betvictor

Second battles tenth in the Gallagher Premiership on Friday evening as Northampton Saints play host to London Irish.

The Saints have won six of their eight league matches with just two defeats. They come into this game, after an 11-day break from league competition, on the back of a bonus point win over Wasps as they won a narrow but thrilling contest 35-31 with Cobus Reinach scoring a brace of tries. Northampton won the game despite having Tom Collins sent off as Taqele Naiyaravoro scored a try in the dying minutes.

London Irish, on the other hand, have only won two Premiership matches all season. Their last encounter saw them heavily beaten 45-28 at home to Exeter Chiefs. They did manage a bonus point for scoring four tries.

Northampton should be far too strong for London Irish and we are expecting a flurry of points and the Saints will come out victorious by 8-14 points.

Today’s Best Bet: Saturday, January 25

Dave Kuzio: Back Bayern Munich to beat Schalke to nil @ 6/5 Unibet

Bayern Munich will be looking to make it five successive victories in the German Bundesliga and keep hot on the tail of league leaders RB Leipzig.

The defending champions are currently four points off the pace in second place, having won 11 of their 18 league matches so far this season. Their last defeat in the Bundesliga was 2-1 away loss at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach. Since then, they have won four matches, scored 15 goals and conceded just two.

Schalke will be no pushover, they occupy fifth place on the ladder and are unbeaten in their last four matches, thanks to two wins and two draws. These two have already met this season with Bayern Munich running out 3-0 winners.

We don’t expect it to be such a heavy margin this time out, but seeing as Munich have not conceded a goal in 180 minutes of football, we are backing them to win this game to nil.

Today’s Best Bet: Sunday, January 26

Dave Kuzio: Back Cristiano Ronaldo to score two or more goals against Napoli @ 3/1 Bet365

Juventus will be looking to make it six Serie A wins in succession when they travel to take on Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.

Juve, who have won eight consecutive Serie A league titles, are once again top of the league with a points total of 51 and lead second place Inter Milan by four points.

Their last defeat was back at the start of December when they were beaten 3-1 away at Lazio. They come into this game on the back of a 2-1 home win over Parma with Cristiano Ronaldo helping himself to a goal double.

It’s unfair to say that Juventus wouldn’t be top without Ronaldo, because they probably still would be the best team in Italy. But he has scored 16 goals in 17 Serie A appearance this season, so he is quite important to their success.

Napoli have won just one of their last 12 Serie A matches, that was a 2-1 away success at Napoli on December 22. They are currently on a three-game losing streak and have only picked up three points since they sacked Carlo Ancelotti and replaced him with Gennaro Gattuso.

Juventus should have no problems claiming all three points and we are backing Ronaldo to score two or more goals.
