Six Nations 2021 Predictions & Tips: Winner

England are clear favourites to dominate the Six Nations Championship once again. They are the defending champions, having won four of their five games in 2020. Their only defeat was a round one loss at the hands of France, but they soon hit back and recorded wins over Wales, Italy, Scotland and Ireland to secure their 26th Triple Crown. I can see Eddie Jones once again winning the Six Nations, but I am not sure they will win the Triple Crown or Grand Slam. Most of the nations are evenly matched, and apart from Italy they are all capable beating each other. In my opinion, the title will be between Ireland and England this year, and it is very apt that they lock horns on the final weekend of the campaign in Dublin. I expect the winner of that match to be crowned champions, and I am tipping England to come out on top.

Six Nations 2021 Predictions & Tips: Wooden Spoon

No one wants to be handed the Wooden Spoon but seeing as Italy have won this unwanted accolade 15 times since they entered the competition in 2000, you would think they would be used to it. It’s not as if Italy are a terrible rugby nation, but they are just not in the same league as the likes of England and Ireland. They seem to up their game against France, but then let themselves down against Scotland and Wales. They will be lucky to pick up one win in the 2021 campaign, so they will walk away with their 16th Wooden Spoon. I hope I am wrong, as it is good to see the lesser nations doing well, but they are still years behind their opponents.
