Dan Thomas - Bristol Bears Challenge Cup

This market is available for the European Challenge Cup final this weekend, and has been picking out our favourite try scorer selection for the game.

First Try Scorer Predictions & Tips: Bristol Bears v Toulon (Friday 20:00 BST)

Bristol Bears and Toulon go in search of their first ever European Challenge Cup success when the two lock horns on Friday evening. Throughout the tournament this season, the Bears have scored 38 tries with Toulon crossing for 30. I am expecting this Final to have quite a few tries with Toulon eventually coming out on top. Normally I would be backing Bristol winger Piers O’Connor to grab the opening try, seeing as he is second on the try scoring charts with four, but seeing as he is expected to start from the bench there seems no point in backing him. Instead, I will back flanker Dan Thomas to cross over from close range to grab his third try of the campaign, before the French side take control.
