Super League Round 4 First Try Scorer Predictions & Tips: Huddersfield Giants v St Helens (Thursday 19:45 BST)

St Helens will be looking to make it four wins from four matches in Super League when they travel to take on Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday evening. The Saints have not hit top for yet, but they are undefeated, while Huddersfield have yet to win a match. The defending champions will be without winger Tommy Makinson with a minor foot problem, although Sione Mata’utia returns after a head knock. Saints like to throw the ball around with the likes of Regan Grace, Mark Percival and Kevin Naiqama the usual suspects to grab the first try. I am ignoring all of them and backing a player that make me come out in hot sweats whenever I think of his name. Jack Welsby still gives me nightmares as he scored the winning try in the Grand Final against my Wigan side with no time left on the clock. I have nothing against the lad, but you can understand why I am still hurting. Welsby is a talented player, and I am backing him to cross over for the opening try against the Giants.
