MotoGP Virtual Race Predictions & Tips: Fabio Quartararo @ 7/2
The bookmakers have made Fabio Quartararo the joint favourite for the season-opening race and that is no surprise considering he is a keen player of video games, especially the MotoGP game. “I’m fast on the Playstation,” he told GPOne.com this week. “But if I look at the ranking, I’m faster in real life! It’s always nice to have fun with the MotoGP video game and I’m really lucky to have one at home in these difficult times. So Fabio is a talented real-life rider and appears to have plenty of gaming time logged on the MotoGP video game, so how can I not agree with the bookies by making him the favourite to win Sunday’s race.
MotoGP Virtual Race Predictions & Tips: Marc Marquez @ 12/1
I offer a bold prediction for the Virtual Australian Grand Prix, so I am going to do the same for the first ever #StayAtHomeGP. And for me the man to consider is Marc Marquez. I’ll be honest, I do know much about Marquez’s gaming exploits outside of the time he celebrated his seventh world title by immediately playing his own arcade game, but this man is a six-time world champion and has been crowned the king of MotoGP in each of the past four seasons. The 27-year-old Spaniard is a serial winner, so would it really be that much of a surprise if he crossed over into the virtual world and dominated that too?
