Aside from watching real life action, what do football fans obsess about in between games? Yes, that’s right FIFA 20. Football fans around the world are currently sorting out their team in a bid to take on their friends and strangers with the best players at their disposal.
What has this got to do betting I hear you ask, well thanks to Leyton Orient they have managed to organise a massive FIFA 2020 tournament with game players representing teams from around the world as they battle it out to be crowned the best team in the world.
It has been named Ultimate Quaran-Team and will feature teams from the Premiership and Championship in England, the A-League in Australia and the Premeira Liga in Portugal, plus many more.
What is Ultimate Quaran-Team?
League Two side Leyton Orient FC have taken to Twitter to invite 63 other teams to join them for this massive knockout tournament and the world’s most popular sports video game.
The response was crazy, they ended up having to extend the tournament to 128 teams altogether and being honest they could have extended it even further.
🤷♂️ Sure, connect four is cool but we’ve got a better idea!
We need 63 other teams to enter a knock-out FIFA 20 tournament.
To enter, all we need is the club to RT this tweet.
We will host a live draw this Tuesday…

It’s all for a good cause too! Firstly, it has been revealed that 75% of money raised will be given to the EFL within 28 days.
Secondly, the remaining 25% will be split between for two very worthy causes. One is the EFL’s chosen charity ‘MIND’ (219830), and secondly in funding the all-important COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.
How does Ultimate Quaran-Team work?
FIFA Ultimate-Quaran-Team will be a straightforward knockout competition in the same style as the FA Cup. If you win, you advance, if you lose you are out.
It is up to the club who they get to represent them in Ultimate Quaran-Team. They might have a first-team player who is a FIFA-ninja – Crystal Palace will be using Andros Townsend and Brighton will call upon Neal Maupay – or they may have a fan of the club who spends his life playing FIFA 20 and enters competitions all the time or clubs could hire an esports professional to fly the flag for their club.
Every club needs to be signed up on FIFA to take part as they will be competing as club rather than the player controlling the team.
How to watch
Bookmaker bet365 is live streaming matches throughout the tournament via its website, and gaining access to a FIFA Ultimate Quaran-Team live stream could not be easier. To access a FIFA Ultimate Quaran-Team live stream of a game you must either have a funded account at the bet365 website or you must have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.
Ultimate Quaran-Team Draw
This tournament has got everyone excited with a lot of banter being passed around on Twitter about it. Defending Premier League champions Manchester City put their name into the hat almost immediately, while the likes of Aston Villa, Burnley, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Sheffield United, West Ham United, AZ Alkmaar, AS Roma, Sydney FC, PSV, Marseille and Willem II are also getting involved. Benfica were expected to take part but they have since dropped out with Nantes taking their place against Swindon Town, while Tranmere Rovers and Bristol City have also withdrawn for personal reasons.
🙌 Gooooooooooood ebening and welcome to everyone tuning in for this, a Twitter based commentary on a draw for FIFA.
I'm the Leyton Orient Admin, and I'll be taking you through all 64 ties tonight – with teams from all over the world competing.
