Turkish Super Lig football tips & live stream: Bet on & watch Turkey’s top flight this week

Dave Kuzio /
Fenerbahce v Galatasaray

The sporting world has been plunged into chaos, but football fans can still get their live action fix by watching & betting on a number of matches from the Turkish Super Lig live online this weekend.

Fenerbahce v Kayserispor (Friday, 17:00 GMT)

Fenerbahce will be looking to end a run of seven Super Lig matches without a victory when they take on bottom club Kayserispor. Fenerbahce currently occupy seventh place on the league ladder with a points total of 40 and are just nine points behind Sivasspor who are in the fourth and final Europa League qualification place. Their last victory was a 2-0 home win over Istanbul Basaksehir back on January 25. Since that win, they have drawn three and lost four and come into this game on the back of a 1-0 away loss at Konyaspor. Kayserispor are rock bottom of the Super Lig ladder with just five wins from 26 matches. They have started to hit a little bit of form with three wins from their last five league matches. They come into this game on the back of 2-1 home success over Yeni Malatyaspor. Fenerbahce really need to get back to winning ways if they are to qualify for Europe next season, so I’m backing them to win this game with both teams scoring.

Gazisehir Gaziantep FK v Ankaragucu (Saturday, 11:00 GMT)

Gazisehir Gaziantep will be looking to move closer to Turkish Super Lig survival with victory over struggling Ankaragucu. The home team currently occupy ninth place on the league standings with eight wins from their 26 matches. Their recent form is not that impressive, with one win from five matches. Their last victory was a 2-0 home triumph over Rizespor, while they come into this game on the back of a 1-0 away loss at Alanyaspor. Ankaragucu are struggling in 17th place, but they did recently end a run of three successive defeats. They stopped the rot with a 2-1 win over Rizespor with two goals in five first-half minutes. The first was an own goal from Burak Albayrak, before Gerson Rodrigues made it two. That win would have given Ankaragucu a lot of confidence, but I’m going for the home team to win this one and both teams scoring goals.

Yeni Malatyaspor v Kasimpasa (Saturday, 14:00 GMT)

Two struggling teams in the Turkish Super Lig lock horns on Saturday with both teams looking to move away from the relegation places. Yeni Malatyaspor are the home side this weekend and they are currently in 15th place, and they are outside the drop zone on just goal difference. They have not picked up a victory in the league since before Christmas. Since then, they have lost nine and drawn two. They come into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat away at Kayserispor. Kasimpasa are one place and one point ahead of their opponents and will be looking to put some daylight between each other. The visitors are unbeaten in their last four matches with three wins and one draw. They come into this weekend’s clash on the back of a 2-0 home win over Goztepe with Bengali-Fode Koita helping himself to a goal double. Yeni Malatyaspor are in a lot of trouble and I cannot see them getting anything from this game despite being on home soil, so I’m backing Kasimpasa to take all three points.

Besiktas v Antalyaspor (Saturday, 17:00 GMT)

Antalyaspor will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches when they travel to take on Besiktas as they look to improve on their current position of 11th position. They last tasted defeat in Super Lig back on January 19 when they went down 3-0 at home to Goztepe. Since then they have won four and drawn four and come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win against Sivasspor with Veysel Sari scoring the winner on Monday. Besiktas, on the other hand, are in fifth position and they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games. They have drawn two and won two of their last four matches and come into this game on the back of a goalless draw away at third ranked Galatasaray. Sometimes league positions count for nothing, so I’m backing both teams to score with Antalyaspor winning the game.
