Back Draw & Both Teams To Score @ 7/2 bet365
Defending champions Barcelona lead the way once again in La Liga as they sit top of the league ladder with 55 points, just two points clear of Real Madrid, and they will be looking to extend their winning run to five matches in the league.
Barca have actually lost more matches than Real Madrid. The champions have been beaten four times, while Los Blancos have only tasted defeat twice. The last time Barcelona tasted defeat in La Liga was back on January 25 when they were beaten 2-0 away at Valencia. Since then, they have picked up maximum points from four matches and head into this fierce derby on the back of a 5-0 win over Eibar with Lionel Messi scoring four and Arthur grabbing one. It’s the draws that have hindered Real – they have been held eight times in their 25 matches.
Real Madrid will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend after suffering their first defeat in 16 matches last time out. They saw a run of 15 games without defeat come to a halt last weekend when they were beaten 1-0 away at Levante. That was a surprise result to say the least, and they will be eager to get back to winning ways and leapfrog Barcelona to go back as the La Liga league leaders.
These two are without doubt the best two teams in Spain, but they sometimes cancel themselves out when they meet each other. Their first encounter this season at the Camp Nou saw them play out a goalless draw – something we don’t want to see happening this weekend.
Real Madrid have not beaten Barcelona in La Liga since recording a 2-1 win in April 2016 thanks to second half goals from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. Since that win, they have lost four and drawn three, and we think this game will end up in another draw. With Real Madrid being at home we cannot see them losing, but Barcelona are also incredibly hard to beat. We do expect them to make up for that Bore Draw in December though, and we are backing both teams to score.
