Raheem Sterling has already said he wants to stay at Manchester City even if they are banned from Europe over FIFA Fair Play irregularities, but things can change quickly in the world of football.
It’s safe to say that Manchester City will not be selling Sterling to another Premier League club, surely, they wouldn’t be that daft.
The only way Sterling will leave City is if the ban stands. He has already won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup once and the EFL Cup on three occasions. He has never won a top European competition and that is something that will eat away at him.
Check out the top four clubs who are interested in signing the England international, these odds are only valid until September 1, 2020:
Raheem Sterling’s Next Club: Real Madrid @ 7/1 Paddy Power
Real Madrid will always be in the hunt for quality players and if Sterling is available, you can bet they will do what they can to win the race for his signature. With Gareth Bale looking like his time in Spain is coming to an end and the fans not yet taking to Eden Hazard, maybe Sterling is the man to lift the gloom and see them installed as one of the best teams in Europe once again.
Raheem Sterling’s Next Club: Paris Saint Germain @ 16/1 Paddy Power
Paris Saint Germain would probably need to offload a couple of players in order to sign someone like Sterling. If they had the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Sterling in their squad, then surely the FIFA Fair Play rule would need to be double checked. Sterling is currently playing in a competitive league, it might be seen as a step back in his career to move to France.
Raheem Sterling’s Next Club: Juventus @ 25/1 Paddy Power
Imagine a team with both Raheem Sterling and Cristiano Ronaldo in. Now that would be something special. That could become a reality if Sterling decides he wants to leave Manchester City. A lot of teams have putting all their eggs in one basket in order to win the Champions League, buying Sterling would give them a great chance.
