Paul Pogba is a Marmite player, you either love him or you hate him. Pogba originally joined Manchester United’s academy in 2009 after leaving Le Harvre, after a couple of years in the youth set-up Pogba got his chance off Sir Alex Ferguson and was promoted to the first team.

Ferguson started to use Pogba sporadically during the 2011-12 season, which didn’t go down too well with the Frenchman. He decided to leave England after refusing to sign a new contract and he joined Juventus, where he went on to win four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia’s and the Supercoppa Italiana twice.

United bought him back in August 2016 for a fee of around £89.3 million. Supporters were delighted to have Pogba back, as he had turned into one of the best players in the world. On his day, he is amazing, but those days have been few and far between in a United shirt.

He has not featured for United since their 1-1 draw against Arsenal on September 30 because of injury, and there has since been a fallout between the club and Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, which suggests Pogba could be on the move soon.

We take a quick look at the teams ready to take a chance on the World Cup winner, these odds are for who he will sign for before September 1, 2020:

Paul Pogba’s Next Club: Not To Sign Or Agree Contract With Any Other Club @ 6/5 Paddy Power

Despite constant speculation that Pogba is unhappy at Manchester United, there is a chance he could sign a new contract and remain at Old Trafford. As already mentioned, Pogba is a world-class player, if he can get himself fully fit and focused on the job in hand, then United could end up with the best midfield in the Premier League. He has yet to team up with Bruno Fernandes, that could one fantastic partnership if Pogba allows it to happen. The bookmakers are quietly confident Pogba will still be at United at the start of next season.

Paul Pogba’s Next Club: Real Madrid @ 7/4 Paddy Power

Despite the problems Pogba’s agent seems to be causing off the field, United really want to keep Pogba, but his head will always be turned by a big money move. Real Madrid are constantly sniffing around and if they are to get their man, they need to move quickly before contract talks begin at Old Trafford. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a long admirer of Pogba and would love the chance to work with him at club level. If Pogba leaves United, he will most likely link up with Zidane.

Paul Pogba’s Next Club: Juventus @ 4/1 Paddy Power

They say never go back, but could Pogba return to Juventus? Pogba was very successful as a Juventus player and it’s clear he played his best football for the Serie A team. Is there room in the team for both Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo. Two massive egos in one dressing room, that’s bound to cause some friction. If I was in charge at Manchester United, I would try and agree a player-swap transfer and bring Ronaldo back for one or two seasons. The buzz around Old Trafford would be incredible if they could pull that off.

Paul Pogba’s Next Club: Paris Saint Germain @ 5/1 Paddy Power

Pogba is 27 years of age, so he still has a few years left at the highest level. Could he decide to return to his country of birth France and join Paris Saint Germain? Pogba has not played in France since leaving Le Havre to join United, it would be an amazing signing for PSG to pick up a player who undoubtedly has had his best games while playing for the France national team.
