Odsonne Edouard originally arrived at Celtic on a season-long from Paris Saint Germain in 2017 and immediately scored on his debut against Hamilton Academical on September 8. During that campaign, he ended up scoring 11 times in 29 appearances as the Bhoys won the domestic treble.

At the end of the season, Edouard put pen to paper on a four-year contract with Celtic for a fee that the club admitted was the highest in their history. Since signing his permanent deal, Edouard has played 59 more times for the Hoops, scoring 37 goals.

During his time in Glasgow, the France Under 21 international has won the Scottish Premiership twice, the Scottish League Cup two times and the Scottish Cup once.

A lot of people dismiss the Scottish Premiership as not being a top competitive league, but this kid has plenty of talent and it won’t be long until he moves onto pastures new.

Take a look at the clubs vying for his attention as they attempt to sign him before September 1, 2020:

Odsonne Edouard’s Next Club: Arsenal @ 5/2 Paddy Power

Arsenal may end up losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the very near future, so they will need a replacement fully capable of finding the back of the net on a regular basis. Edouard would need to hit the ground running by scoring on his Premier League debut if he is to prove to everyone that he is good enough for the so-called best league in the world.

Odsonne Edouard’s Next Club: Manchester United @ 4/1 Paddy Power

It’s no surprise that Manchester United are among the favourites when it comes to signing a new player. Until they are seen as title contenders yet again, they will be linked with every single talented player on the planet. There is some doubt on whether or not Odion Ighalo will be at Old Trafford next season, so Edouard would be the perfect replacement to take the goal load off the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Odsonne Edouard’s Next Club: Everton @ 9/1 Paddy Power

Everton could pip both Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of the Celtic striker. Remember, Carlo Ancelotti is the man in charge at Goodison Park at the moment, he is a massive pull when it comes to attracting players. If Ancelotti could have both Richarlison and Edouard leading the line, then the Toffees could be pushing for a European lace and maybe a cup final appearance.

Odsonne Edouard’s Next Club: Leicester City @ 10/1 Paddy Power

Leicester City cannot rely on Jamie Vardy forever. The former England international is 33 years old and is entering the twilight of his career. They could pick up Edouard from Celtic and he could learn off the master for the next season or so before taking up the mantle as Leicester’s number one striker. The Foxes already have a Premier League title under their belt, they need to be making signings like Edouard if they are to be real title contenders in the future. And remember, City manager Brendan Rodgers was the man who brought Edouard to Celtic, so he obviously knows the player very well.
