First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Stuttgart v Koln (Friday 19:30 BST)

Stuttgart picked it up and the bagged seven points in their last three outings, having scored nine goals in four Bundesliga matches. They scored two in what ended as a comfortable win at Hertha Berlin (0-2) and will now surely want more of the same as they host Koln on Friday evening, sitting just three points behind the top of the table.

Sasa Kalajdzic scored three along the way and while he struggled to make an impact with Austria over the International break, we feel he’ll still be pumped to impress. The 23-year-old striker hasn’t found the net on his return either but we feel he can build on the tally now, as we back Kalajdzic to score first at Mercedes-Benz-Arena.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Sassuolo v Torino (Friday 19:45 BST)

Sassuolo have seen goals coming from all directions as they impressed in the final third early in the new campaign. They scored 12 goals in three games now behind them and will surely want an attacking approach as they host troubled Torino n Friday. De Zerbi has a lot to be happy about but it does come off Francesco Caputo stands out.

Caputo scored four goals on those three occasions himself and found the net with Italy as they outclassed Moldova (6-0) in a friendly. He impressed last term and just keeps going, which has us hoping for more of the same on the day – backing Caputo to open the scoresheet for the first time this term.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Elche v Valencia (Friday 20:00 BST)

Elche will be happy with a seven-point tally after four games played, sitting four points behind pace-setters Sociedad with two games in hand. They beat Alaves (0-2) on Sunday and we’ve seen Pere Milla in a great mood, as he opened the scoresheet at Mendizorroza Stadium but also jokingly showed the ref a yellow card.

We hope to see him in good shape once again and we expect a very tight contest on Friday, which could as well be untangled with a single goal. With hopes we’re spot on, we’re backing Pere Milla to score first once again – which seems like a solid approach to the goalscorers’ market for those keeping the faith for a similar contest.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Aston Villa v Leeds United (Friday 20:00 BST)

Aston Villa take on Leeds United at Villa Park, with the visitors looking to put a spanner in the works if Dean Smith’s sides perfect run. Villa’s four wins, include the 7-2 win over Liverpool and the much tighter 1-0 win over Leicester, which they secured with a late goal. Leeds United had picked up a couple of wins and a draw against Man City, before a surprise loss to Wolves last week.

Although this match has the prospects of a draw, Aston Villa are likely to open the scoring in this one, with Ross Barkley a solid option for first scorer. The Chelsea loanee has looked in great form since joining the VIllains, scoring in both appearances so far for Dean Smith. He is relishing his role alongside Jack Grealish and the former Everton man looks a great shout to score the opener in this contest.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Rennes v Angers (Friday 20:00 BST)

Rennes have been scoring goals on the regular and felt to be in great shape in the final third. They were held off by Reims (2-2) and Dijon (1-1) in their last two outings and will want more now. Serhou Guirassy led the line with three goals to his name in six outings and while he failed to find the net on those two occasions, we’re hoping to see him lead the line.

Red and Blacks have a Champions League clash against Krasnodar on schedule but we don’t see them fatigued yet. They will want to impress and challenge the top once again, which has us hoping for an attacking approach that could have Guirassy capitalize. We will now back him to score first and build on his solid tally so far.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: West Ham v Man City (Friday 12:30 BST)

West Ham take on Manchester City at the London Stadium, with the Hammers facing a tough ask to extend their three game unbeaten run, having lost their last eleven matches to Pep Guardiola’s side. David Moyes’s side have beaten Wolves and Aston Villa, before a comeback draw against Spurs, but this looks a task too far for the Hammers.

In terms of first scorer, Man City look the likelier to take the lead in this game, with Sergo Aguero the selection for first scorer. The Argentinian returned against Arsenal and then scored a penalty in the win over Porto, to get his account for the season up and running, with another goal against the Hammers looking likely, as they try to keep Raheem Sterling quiet.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt (Saturday 14:30 BST)

Robert Lewandowski has been instrumental with both Bayern Munich and Poland lately. Bavarians have been in fine form in the final third and saw goals coming from all directions. However, we feel Lewa’s presence as the target man changes everything and this looks like another great season in the making for him.

Lewandowski bagged a brace for Poland against Bosnia-Herzegovina and did the same on their Bundesliga return against Arminia Bielefeld (1-4). He’s boosted his league tally to seven after four games and we hope he can keep it up, as we back the 32-year-old to score first on Saturday afternoon as well.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Lorient v Marseille (Saturday 16:00 BST)

Marseille have been in great shape up front and while they struggled to turn clashes their way beforehand, we’ve seen them beat Bordeaux (3-1) and Thauvin lead the in-form attacking line. L’OM now have a busy schedule on their hands but this promises them in a good mood, motivated to keep up with the top of the table.

Les Phoceens will surely rely on Dario Benedetto and Florian Thauvin to lead the line once again and we’re sticking with the latter to score first on the day. Thauvin has now scored three goals in seven games despite transfer rumours surrounding him and we expect him to keep it up, playing an important role this term too.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: PSG v Dijon (Saturday 19:00 BST)

PSG host Dijon for their Saturday’s clash looking to bounce after a disappointing loss to Man United (1-2) in Man United. They have struggled to impress moving forward despite the pressure we’ve seen on some occasions, especially at the start. Parisians will now want more against struggling rivals and we do see them getting it.

Neymar could play an important role in PSG finding their feet once again and returning to the winning ways. Icardi and Di Maria will both be out and he’ll want to show off, after bagging a brace against Angers in early October and a hat-trick against Peru over the International break. We’re now backing Neymar to keep it up and score first on Saturday.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Lazio v Bologna (Saturday 19:45 BST)

Lazio haven’t been able to get on the scoresheet as they saw a comfortable 3-0 loss at Sampdoria, which was their second such defeat in four games. This will surely be worrying for Biancocelesti but we feel they haven’t lacked confidence up front – especially in a 1-1 draw against Inter but also in a win we’ve seen at Cagliari and a disappointing loss to Atalanta (1-4).

Ciro Immobile will be the point of reference once again, we feel, and we hope to see him lead the line. Lazio will certainly need him to find his form quickly and we’ll back him to do so. We’re going for Immobile to score first at 11/4, which comes off as the best value in the market despite somewhat of a goalscoring drought we’ve seen lately.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Man United v Chelsea (Saturday 17:30 BST)

Man United take on Chelsea in this Saturday evening clash, with both sides looking to bag a precious three points, after below par starts to their respective seasons. After the heavy loss to Spurs, United have beaten Newcastle and then picked up an away win at PSG in midweek, while Chelsea will have been kicking themselves after being held by Southampton in a 3-3 draw, but gained confidence from a solid defensive display in the goalless draw with Sevilla.

In terms of first scorer, Timo Werner is tipped to fire the visitors in front, with the Man United defence, even after the PSG display, not yet convincing enough just yet. United;s fighting spirit will bring them back into matches, but they tend to respond better, when chasing a game. The German international has scored three times for Chelsea so far and since coming back from the international break he looks in better form.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Atletico Madrid v Real Betis (Saturday 20:00 BST)

Luis Suarez has shown off as a crucial bit in Atletico Madrid’s attacking line early in the new campaign after what’s been a shock move from Barcelona. He’s bagged three goals in four games and opened the scoresheet early on against Celta Vigo (0-2) last week, playing into our hands as we backed him to do so.

Suarez will surely be leading the line on Saturday as well, where Atleti look to build on the rock-solid streak and we expect a tight contest. We feel a goal or two could untangle the contest on the day, as we back him to do such a job and score first again – which comes off as the best approach to the market on the day.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Real Sociedad v Huesca (Saturday 20:00 BST)

Real Sociedad host Huesca as La Liga pace-setters, having beaten Getafe (3-0) and Real Betis (0-3) in two exciting games ahead and after the International break. They scored six goals along the way and now want to keep it up, with goals coming from all directions as Portu and Mikel Oyarzabal scored two each, while Adnan Januzaj and Mikel Merino added one each.

Portu has thus scored three in their last four outings and we hope he can keep it up. Willian Jose hasn’t been able to deliver early on and we feel the wingers will feel the goalscoring weight once again. We’ll thus back Portu to score again and we’ll go for him to do so first on Sunday, which comes at eye-catching 6/1.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Metz v St Etienne (Sunday 14:00 BST)

Metz have picked it up lately and earned eight points in four games, as they beat Reims (2-1) and Lorient (3-1) at this ground and held off Marseille (1-1) and Angers (1-1) on the road. They now host struggling St Etienne and hope to build on the unbeaten streak, desperate to build towards the Ligue 1 mid-table still early in the campaign.

The solid streak of recent was in part a consequence of Ibrahima Niane’s great form in the final third, where he scored all but one of those goals. With six to his name after six outings, Niane will be looking to keep it up and we find it hard to find a better value than backing the 21-year-old youth academy product to score first on Sunday as well.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Werder Bremen v Hoffenheim (Sunday 17:00 BST)

Hoffenheim have seen narrow losses to Eintracht Frankfurt (2-1) and Borussia Dortmund (0-1) in their last two games, looking to bounce to the winning ways as they travel to Bremen. They’ve been in furious form up front as they scored eight goals in the first three games, with Andrej Kramaric leading the line.

Kramaric bagged six of those and scored twice against Chemnitzer FC in DFB Pokal too. He found the net for Croatia in a 2-1 win over Sweden as well, which has us hoping we’re in for more of the same. We expect him spearheading the attacking line on Sunday and we’ll back Kramaric to score first, which comes at 11/2.

First Goalscorer Predictions & Tips: Juventus v Hellas Verona (Sunday 19:45 BST)

Juventus have been denied points at Crotone (1-1) last week but managed to bounce on their trip to Kyiv (0-2) in the Champions League. They have been scoring goals on the regular and Alvaro Morata played an important part in the final third, finding the equalizer in Crotone and bagging a brace against Dynamo Kyiv.

Morata will now want to build on a great start after finding his feet quickly back in Juventus. He’s been a bright spot with Cristiano Ronaldo out of the picture for the time being and we expect him leading the line once again – as we go for Morata to continue his streak and score first on Saturday evening as well.
