What Are The Best Outright Bookmaker Offers Available?

Sky Bet

No doubt you’ll be seeing plenty of Jeff Stelling-related advertisements on your TV once the season is up and running, with Sky Bet undoubtedly one of the most popular online bookmakers.

Sky Bet have plenty of excellent offers and promotions – from their weekly Bet £25, Get A £5 Free Bet to their various price boosts – and in terms of their outright terms, they’re also one step ahead of the rest.

In the English Football League (Championship, League One and League Two), the vast majority of bookmakers only offer three each-way places in terms of the ‘To Win Outright’ market, but Sky Bet are offering four each-way places, albeit at slightly reduced 1/5 odds rather than 1/4 odds.

This means that should your selected team end up finishing fourth in the table, you would receive a return with Sky Bet which you would not with other bookmakers.

This could be particularly useful for accumulator selections, as it could prove the difference between ensuring profit from your original outlay or one selection letting the rest down.

The days of Ray Winstone seem to be behind us, but that doesn’t stop bet365 continuing to be the world’s most popular online bookmaker, as the “Sexy Beast” actor repeatedly informed us.

Bet365 aren’t matching Sky Bet’s each-way terms on the outright market, but they do have an almighty offer of their own.

Those of you who use bet365 will no doubt be aware of their “Early Payout” offer, which pays out on any win-related market when your selection goes two goals ahead in a game.

They have extended this offer into the ‘To Win Outright’ market on several major leagues, too, meaning that if your selection goes 10 points clear with the same amount of matches played, you will be paid out as a winner.

How Bet365's League Winner Early Payout Offer Works

  1. Place a bet on the To Win Outright market on any team from selected leagues up to and including Thursday 9th September 2021. Applicable leagues listed below.
  2. If the team you back takes a lead of 10 points or more in their league, and all teams have played the same number of games*, we will settle your bet early as a winner.
  3. For multiple bets, if a team you have backed takes a lead of 10 points or more in their league, this selection will be marked as won within My Bets, with the remaining selections left to run.

*If your team is leading the league and other teams have games in hand but cannot get to within 10 points of your team by winning those games, we will settle your bet early as a winner.

This offer is available on the following leagues for the 2021/22 season:

  • English Premier League – 2020/21 season paid out early on Wednesday 17th February
  • English Championship – 2020/21 season paid out early on Wednesday 17th March
  • English League 1
  • English League 2
  • Scottish Premiership
  • Scottish Championship
  • Scottish League One
  • Scottish League Two
  • German Bundesliga I – 2020/21 season paid out early on Tuesday 20th April
  • Italian Serie A – 2020/21 season paid out early on Wednesday 7th April
  • Spanish Primera Liga – 2020/21 season paid out early on Sunday 31st January
  • French Ligue 1

Essentially, then, anyone selecting Manchester City, Norwich, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan or Atletico Madrid last season would have gained from this offer.

Despite holding a 10+ point lead in January, Atletico were pegged back by city rivals Real Madrid with the destination of the title taken to the final day, meaning anyone who had backed them to win La Liga as a single or as part of an accumulator with bet365 could breathe easy regardless of the eventual outcome.

Unless you are receiving significantly better odds from another bookmaker on your selection, or perhaps making an each-way EFL selection, bet365 appear to be the way to go when making  your ‘To Win Outright’ selections given this generous offer.

Even better, too, you’ve got until the 9th September to still benefit from the Early Payout offer, so you can even wait and see how the final few weeks of the transfer market develop, and indeed how teams perform in the first few games of the season.
