Serie A Predictions & Tips: Inter Milan v Napoli (Tuesday 20:45 BST)
Inter Milan returned to the winning ways after two consecutive draws, beating Genoa (0-3) over the weekend and making the 2nd spot once again. They host Napoli hoping to build on such performance at Luigi Ferraris Stadium, where Lukaku bagged a brace and Alexis Sanchez added a goal of his own. Nerazzurri will now surely be just as motivated in search of points to keep Atalanta and Lazio at bay, which promises a strong challenge despite seeing Juventus celebrate their ninth consecutive title over the weekend. Napoli have more to play as they look to catch up with Roma at 5th and escape playing Europa League Qualifiers. They have been far from consistent but we’ve seen them scoring goals quite regularly, which will have the fans hopeful. Gattuso’s men beat Sassuolo (2-0) on Saturday but managed just one win on their last four trips, which could be more worrying. We feel we’re now in for a great contest but we don’t see the Partenopei making the most of it.
Serie A Predictions & Tips: Torino v Roma (Wednesday 20:45 BST)
Torino were held off by Verona (1-1) and SPAL (1-1) but still managed to secure top-flight survival with points earned, as 18th placed Lecce failed to make any and sit seven points behind. Toro have been a lot tougher to beat in Turin, though, and will certainly want to show it off as they host Roma on Wednesday. They scored at least a goal in all of their six home outings since the return to Serie A and suffered just one loss along the way, which promises Moreno Longo’s men in good shape. Roma have more to play for and will want to grab the points, with a top 5 spot in the bag and Milan trailing by four points. They beat Fiorentina (2-1) on Sunday and while the late winner came from a questionable penalty kick, it was their fifth win in six outings and just a 2-2 draw against Inter Milan interrupted the streak. Giallorossi could feel the pressure, though, and they struggled defensively especially when on the road – which could prove costly once again!
