Belarusian Premier League Predictions & Tips: Minsk v Isloch (Friday 16:00 BST)

Minsk have struggled to build towards the Premier League mid-table but still have two games in hand as they sit six points behind 5th placed Dinamo Brest. They will hope to make it count and hosting similarly struggling Isloch for their Matchday 13 clash on Friday feels like a good chance to start the climb. They come into the match with a trashing 6-1 loss in Brest, though, and Andrey Razin will have a task to lift his men’s team spirits – despite performing better in front of the home fans on the regular. Isloch have seen a four-match winless streak since mid-May and held on to a point in a 1-1 draw against Ruh with an equaliser from Dmitri Komarovskiy. They have struggled to find the net on the road and we feel they could have trouble doing so at Traktar Stadium, despite solid records here over the past four years. We will thus stick our necks out for Minsk to bag their only second win over Isloch at this ground ever.

Belarus Premier League Predictions & Tips: BATE v Shakhtyor Soligorsk (Sunday 18:00 BST)

BATE have seen a seven-match winning streak ended at Vitebsk (2-2) last week, seeing a two-goal lead slip through their fingers late in the game. They now host Shakhtyor Soligorsk for Premier League Matchday 13 derby clash desperate to bounce quickly and build on the two-point gap to the 2nd placed rivals. We have seen them very confident at Borisov Arena through most part of the campaign and Kiryl Alshevskiy still has a lot to build on as he looks to get the best out of his men. Shakhtyor Soligorsk will be no easy targets, though. The visitors come into the match with a streak of four wins and clean sheets on all of the occasions. They enjoyed very narrow occasions against Dinamo Minsk (0-1) and Energetyk-BGU (1-0) in their last two outings, as in-form Vitali Lisakovich made it count and boosted his tally to six goals this term. However, it feels like they will need more for an upset in Borisov and we don’t feel the miners have what it takes to make it happen despite a narrow occasion in the making.
