Nathan Aspinall vs Dimitri van den Bergh tips

A repeat of December’s World Championship Quarter-Final sees Premier League star Aspinall take on former World Youth Champion Van den Bergh.

Aspinall prevailed by five sets to three on that occasion, marking a fourth consecutive win over the Belgian ace.

Now up to a career-high sixth in the Order of Merit, ‘The Asp’ has gone from strength-to-strength since winning the UK Open last year, gaining a debut spot in the Premier League.

The Stockport star is bidding for his first win at the World Matchplay and will be poised for a stern test from ‘The Dream Maker’, but should come out on top in a high-scoring encounter.
