Indian Premier League Predictions & Tips: Delhi Capitals v Mumbai Indians (Tuesday 15:00 BST)

Mumbai Indians will be looking to make it three wins in succession when they take on Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday. Mumbai lost their opening game of the campaign, before bouncing back and winning their next two matches. The Indians come into this game on the back of a 13-run success over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mumbai batted first and went onto post 150-5 with Quinton de Kock top scoring with 40 from 38. It wasn’t the biggest total to defend, but they ended up doing so as they skittled the Sunrisers out for 137 with Trent Boult and Rahul Chahar both taking three wickets apiece. The Capitals have won two and lost one this season, and they come into this game on the back of a six-wicket win over Punjab Kings on Sunday. The Capitals won the toss and bowled first, and Chris Woakes, Lukman Meriwala, Kagiso Rabada and Avesh Khan all took a wicket each as the Kings posted 195-4. That was quite a decent total, but the capitals reached their target with 10 balls to spare as Shikhar Dhawan top scored with 92 runs from 49 deliveries. This should be an entertaining affair and I am backing the Indians to come out on top. Skipper Rohit Sharma contributed with 32 from 25 balls, and I expect him to kick on and top score for Mumbai, while Dhawan is in fine form this season with 186 runs from three matches, and I am backing him to top score for the Capitals.

Indian Premier League Predictions & Tips: Kolkata Knight Riders v Chennai Super Kings (Wednesday 15:00 BST)

Chennai Super Kings go in search of a third successive win in the IPL when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday. The Super Kings have won two of their opening three matches. They come into this game on the back of a 45-run success over Rajasthan Royals. The Super Kings were put into bat and they went on to post 188-9 with Faf du Plessis top scoring with 33. With ball in hand, they restricted the Royals to 143-9 off 20 overs with England international Moeen Ali returning figures of 3-7 off three overs. The Kolkata Knight Riders are fifth on the league ladder with just one win from three attempts. The Knight Riders fell to a 38-run loss at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday. Bangalore opted to bat first, and they posted an impressive 204-4 with Glenn Maxwell top scoring with 78. In reply, the Knight Riders could only reach 166-8 with their highest individual score being 31 from Andre Russell. I am backing the Super Kings to extend their winning run with Du Plessis once again showing his quality. For the Knight Riders, I expect their top order to improve, and I expect opener Shubman Gil to lead from the front and score the most runs for the Knight Riders.

Indian Premier League Predictions & Tips: Royal Challengers Bangalore v Rajasthan Royals (Thursday 15:00 BST)

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking to remain unbeaten in the IPL when they take on Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. The Challengers sit at the top of the league ladder with three wins from three matches. They come into this game on the back of a 38-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday. Bangalore opted to bat first, and they went on to post 204-4 with Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers scoring 78 and 76 respectively. The Knight Riders could only go and post 166-8 off their 20 overs, as Kyle Jamieson claimed three wickets with Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel taking two wickets each. The Royals have won one of their three games this season and come into this match on the back of a 45-run loss against Chennai Super Kings on Monday. The Royals opted to bowl first, and the Super Kings went on to score 188-9 with Faf du Plessis top scoring with 33. When the Royals went to bat, they could only manage to score 143-9 with Jos Buttler top scoring with 49. The Challengers look special at the moment, I am backing them to win four on the bounce with opener Devdutt Padikkal top scoring, while I am tipping Buttler to once again score the most for the Royals.
