England v Pakistan 3rd T20I Predictions & Tips: England’s Top Batsman
Eoin Morgan played a captain’s role in their five-wicket win over Pakistan in the second T20 at Old Trafford. The Irish-born leader hit four sixes as he smashed his way to 66 off 33 deliveries, while he was backed up by Dawid Malan who hit a half century of his own as he was unbeaten on 54. England started well with Tom Banton (20) and Jonny Bairstow (44) getting off to a decent start. The hosts look well set with their top order and anyone of them can top score if they get settled. I’m backing Jonny Bairstow to kick on and get a big score in the third and final T20, once he gets his eye in and remains focused, he could easily wrack up three figures.
England v Pakistan 3rd T20I Predictions & Tips: England’s Top Bowler
England opted to bowl first in the second T20, having not had the chance last Friday. They were not that impressive if truth be told, they managed to snap up four wickets as Pakistan made 195 off 20 overs. Spinner Adil Rashid was the pick of the bunch with 2-32, but he still went for eight an over. Chris Jordan and Tom Curran both took a wicket each, but they were also quite expensive with both of them going above 10 an over. When you have a batting line-up like England’s, the bowlers can have an off day. Saying that, they cannot afford to have too many of them. I think the seam bowlers will come back firing on Tuesday and I’m backing Chris Jordan to take the most wickets for England.
England v Pakistan 3rd T20I Predictions & Tips: Most Sixes
England showed they are one of the best teams in the world when it comes to the shorter format of the game, as they produced the most sixes – something we advised you to back. Pakistan managed to hit five during their innings, Mohammad Hafeez smashed six during his score of 69, while Fakhar Zaman hit one. England replied with eight maximums, Eoin Morgan led the way with four, Jonny Bairstow sent two over the boundary rope and Tom Banton and Dawid Malan both hit one each. England’s top order looked in a good rhythm, so I’m backing them once again to hit the most sixes in the third T20 on Tuesday.
