Afghanistan v Ireland 3rd ODI Betting Tips & Predictions: Match Winner

Well, I got the prediction for this series well and truly wrong. I fully expected Ireland to beat Afghanistan over the three ODI’s, but so far, they have failed to win one. They looked on course to win the second ODI as opener Paul Stirling hit four sixes and 12 fours on his way to 128 as Ireland reached 259-9. It was a relatively decent total, but Afghanistan had no trouble in knocking that off, as they reached their total with 4.4 overs remaining as Rahmat Shah was unbeaten with 103 from 109 deliveries. I am going to give Ireland a fighting chance in this one, as I am backing Afghanistan to win and take the series 3-0.

Afghanistan v Ireland 3rd ODI Betting Tips & Predictions: Afghanistan Top Runs Scorer

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah have been in fine form in the opening two matches, they have scored 264 runs between them. In game one, Gurbaz smashed nine sixes and eight fours as he posted 127 from as many balls, while Rahmat was the hero in game two as he scored an unbeaten 103 as they secured a series win. Gurbaz, who made 31 in the second game, will more than likely open the batting again and I am backing him to lead from the front and score the most runs for Afghanistan.

Afghanistan v Ireland 3rd ODI Betting Tips & Predictions: Afghanistan Top Wicket Taker

Naveen-ul-Haq is the leading wicker in the series so far, he claimed figures of 4-42 in the second game to take his tally to seven having taken three in game one. The 21-year-old has baffled the Ireland batsman with his pace. He has only played in six One Dayers and already has 13 wickets to his name, I am backing that number to increase on Tuesday.
