The latest world ranking event in the midst of a hectic stage of the season features 64 of the world's top stars battling it out for the £50,000 top prize in the country's capital.

The tournament was originally scheduled for October 13-17, 2014, but was postponed until March due to the State Election in Maharashtra.

The inaugural staging of the event in 2013 saw Ding Junhui defeat home hero Aditya Mehta in the final in New Delhi, and the competition promises to be as intense as ever this time around.

Among the notable names in action include young sensation Judd Trump, World Seniors Champion Mark Williams, Welsh Open winner John Higgins and Ali Carter.

In addition, a host of resident Indian qualifiers will also take part, including World Billiards Champion Pankaj Advani, as he looks to follow in the footsteps of his fellow countryman Mehta 18 months ago.

The tournament runs from March 10-14 at the Grand Hyatt Arena in Mumbai.

All matches up to and including the Semi-Finals will be contested over the best of seven frames, with the final best of nine.
