Snooker's elite battle it out in inaugural China Championship in Guangzhou this week, with all matches available to watch live on desktop or mobile.

Sixteen of the world's top stars will compete in the brand new invitational which carries the biggest prize pool of any event ever held outside the UK, with the winner set to pocket £200,000.

The field is comprised of the top ten players in the world rankings following September's Shanghai Masters, excluding Ronnie O'Sullivan, who opted not to feature and is replaced by Mark Williams.

The top four players on the one-year Order of Merit have also been invited to take part, alongside Marco Fu and Liang Wenbo - who were selected by the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association.

The £650,000 tournament is to become a fully-fledged ranking event as of next season, contested by 128 players and with the prize fund rising to £700,000.

World number one Mark Selby is aiming to follow up his triumph in last weekend's International Championship in Daqing, while runner-up Ding Junhui bids for his third title of the season on Asian soil.

Other top ten stars include Stuart Bingham, Judd Trump, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy, Neil Robertson, Mark Allen and Ricky Walden, with Ali Carter, Anthony McGill, Joe Perry and Michael Holt comprising the one-year ranking list qualifiers.

The tournament runs from November 1-5 and will be staged in the city of Guangzhou in the Guangdong Province of South East China.
