NRL Premiers South Sydney Rabbitohs are taking the World Club Series match against St Helens very seriously after naming their squad for the contest.

New captain Greg Inglis will be on display as will Englishmen Thomas and George Burgess. New Zealand hooker Issac Luke, who missed the Grand Final win over Canterbury Bulldogs through suspension, is expected to feature at Langtree Park.

The 2015 World Club Challenge match against the 2014 Super League Champions, St Helens, will be played at Langtree Park in St Helens, England, next Sunday 22 February at 7pm GMT (Monday 23 February at 6am AEDST).

Bunnies head coach Michael Maguire, who once was in charge of Saints’ fierce rivals Wigan Warriors, will be looking to get one over on the side he used to call the ‘old enemy’.

The 2015 World Club Series will be the inaugural World Club Series and will be contested by six clubs - three each from the Super League and NRL. The 2015 series marks a departure from the previous format, whereby only the premiers from the two respective competitions would take part.

In September 2014 it was announced that the World Club Series would be overhauled to include six clubs. The 2015 series will take place between February 22–25, and will feature three matches, the first and second essentially being two exhibition games and the final game being for the Championship trophy between the two respective premiers as in previous years.
