Gloucester to beat Saracens (15:00 GMT)

Gloucester’s 2019/20 campaign has started off in the perfect way as they continue to build towards what could be a title challenge this time around. Two wins in three have come at the expense of Sale and Wasps, although they were consigned to a first defeat of the season on the road at the hands of Leicester last time out. Saracens meanwhile have not been their unbeatable selves of late, and fell to a very disappointing 27-25 home loss at the hands of Northampton which got their campaign off to the worst possible start. While some will back a Sarries win here, the reigning champions will still be without many of their World Cup stars and we think they will struggle against a Gloucester side that look like play-off challengers this year.

Harlequins to beat Worcester (15:00 GMT)

Harlequins’ campaign is yet to really get off the ground as of yet, with a single win in three attempts not something they would have envisioned before the season had begun. A 22-19 loss to Exeter and a 40-22 loss to Northampton came on the road, with their sole win coming at home, and they will be confident of making it two from two at home against a Worcester side that have lost twice on the road in two attempts.

Northampton to beat Bath (Saturday, 15:00 GMT)

Bath have looked awful so far this year as they have failed to recapture any of the sort of form they displayed last season. A single win in three attempts came against Exeter at home, only further proving that winning on the road has not been easy at all in the Premiership this year. Northampton meanwhile are perched at the top of the table with three wins in three after dispatching Saracens, Worcester and Harlequins, with the former, a win at Allianz Park, an incredibly impressive one. As previously mentioned, winning on the road is not easy but, on current form, we believe that these are the two sides most likely to see this trend bucked.

Bristol +13 vs Exeter (Sunday, 15:00 GMT)

And so we come to the most contentions of our picks for the weekend, with Bristol travelling to take on Exeter at Sandy Park. The Chiefs have battled to two wins in the league this season while Bristol have also managed to do the same and find themselves in the lofty heights of second before the fourth-round of fixtures. Their +28 point difference shows they have been in good form on the pitch this year which makes this a tough one to call. Exeter have won both games at home this season but Bristol have looked good across the campaign, while the Chiefs will still be without some first choice players due to the World Cup. However, Bristol’s loss this year came on the road, and with the Chiefs so strong at home we feel that despite the value, Bristol should not be backed outright. Instead, we are backing the Bears +13, with Exeter not winning by more than four points as of yet, while Bristol’s only loss was by a five point margin.
