Brian Healy gives his race-by-race selections and best bets for all Tuesday's UK racecards.

Three more meetings will go to post across the UK on Tuesday, with afternoon all-weather action on the tapeta surface at Wolverhampton; while jumps racing action takes place at Southwell and Lingfield on another low-key schedule of racing action.

Southwell (jumps) – 12.20 – 3.20pm (7 races)
Wolverhampton (flat, aw) – 12.40 – 4.10pm (8 races)
Lingfield (jumps) – 1.00 – 3.30pm (6 races)

(12.50) GET RHYTHM (5/2, William Hill) rounded off the summer with back-to-back wins over hurdles and fences at Bangor and Ffos Las respectively, and Tom George’s charge shaped well back from a break at Lingfield last month when finding only Crievehill too strong.

Beaten two lengths, the Kayf Tara gelding may have needed that return, so he ought to strip fitter now for the outing, and many of Tom George’s runners have improved for their first run so he could well bounce back to winning form here.

A subsequent winner has come out of the race, while the winner performed with some credit in a tougher contest at Newbury over the weekend; racing off the same mark here he ought to go close, and he can go one better to get back on the winning trail.

Aloomomo can bounce back to winning ways at Southwell.

(1.20) ALOOMOMO (11/4, BetVictor) looked a very progressive sort when racking up a trio of wins in the 2015/16 season, and then finishing a highly creditable sixth to Ballyalton in the 2016 Close Brothers’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Restricted to just two starts last term, he was a faller in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup on his second outing of the season and subsequently absent for eleven months until a promising return at Carlisle last month over hurdles where Warren Greatrex’s charge finished third behind Count Meribel.

Unchanged at the weights, he is entitled to come on for that return, while the form of that Carlisle reappearance has seen both the winner and runner-up win their next respective runs; while the fourth home finished runner-up on his next outing so the form looks strong.

Still relatively lightly-raced and so unexposed, he could go well on the back of that first run back, and no surprise if he resumes winning ways over this longer trip which promises to suit the son of Tirwanako.

12.20 – Irish Octave
12.50 – Get Rhythm
1.20 – Aloomomo
1.50 – Red Rising
2.20 – Signed And Sealed
2.50 – Sauvignon
3.20 – Doctor Dex

(1.10) LANDING NIGHT (9/4, Paddy Power) has been competing in stronger contests than the one he finds himself in here, and Rebecca Menzies’ charge can get back to winning ways following a lesser effort at Newcastle last month.

The Kodiac gelding has won twice in 2017, scoring on turf at Musselburgh in September, and then at Newcastle the following month, after which he went close behind Alsvinder here last month.

Beaten four lengths last time behind Atletico, he was given too much to do off the stead y pace while being denied a clear run two furlongs out when trying to come with his challenge;  he may again be at the mercy of a steadily-run contest, but this is easier than the races he has taken on in recent times and he can get back on the scoresheet off this mark.

(2.10) POETIC IMAGINATION (11/8, Ladbrokes) may have contested a potentially decent contest when beating only one home on debut at Newmarket last month, but John Gosden’s charge probably needed the experience and she stepped up to finish runner-up on her next start at Lingfield later the same month.

Beaten four lengths behind Masaarr, the Exceed and Excel filly could be the type to improve again, and she can shed her maiden tag at the third attempt with the form of that latest run being given a small boost by the fourth horse home almost getting off the mark next time out.

The winner of that race is a potentially smart sort, so there was little caste lost in defeat; and this return to seven furlongs could well be a catalyst for better things, and she can get off the mark now.

12.40 – Jack Of Diamonds
1.10 – Landing Night
1.40 – Sun Maiden
2.10 – Poetic Imagination
2.40 – Royal Reserve
3.10 – Miracle Garden
3.40 – Critical Thinking
4.10 – My Brunette

(1.30) ROSE OF CIMARRON (6/4, William Hill) got off the mark at the second attempt when successful in a Uttoxeter bumper back in June, beating Ellary by eight lengths.

Warren Greatrex’s charge found Listed company next time too much of a test when beating only one home at Cheltenham on his return to action following five months off at Cheltenham last month, although the softer ground may not been in her favour.

The Westerner filly faces similar conditions on her hurdles debut, but she can improve for the switch to jumping obstacles and this is a pretty weak race she finds herself in so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if she were competitive here.

Warren Greatrex can saddle a Lingfield winner on Tuesday.

(2.30) SEA WALL (13/8, Paddy Power) boasts a good record at this venue, and Chris Gordon’s charge can get back to winning ways having shaped well on his return from a break last month.

The Turgeon gelding reeled off a hat-trick of wins late last term, which included a chase win at this venue; he had previously struck over hurdles at Plumpton and he bagged the three-timer over  the larger obstacles at Leicester in March.

Well-suited by a soft surface, he ought to strip fitter for his recent third behind Poppy Kay at Newbury, beaten four lengths; the form doesn’t look too shabby after the winner finished a close third in Listed company at the week-end, and he can remain competitive off this mark so he ought to go well again.

1.00 – Ar Mest
1.30 – Rose Of Cimarron
2.00 – Tzar De L’elfe
2.30 – Sea Wall
3.00 – Allthegear No Idea
3.30 - Hadfield
