The Big BettingPro Weekend ACCA powered by William Hill

Leigh Copson 19 Nov 2019

Get BettingPro's best picks for this weekend's sporting action in our accumulator powered by William Hill.

Accumulator (ACCA) betting remains a popular method of betting because it provides punters with an opportunity to land big pay-outs when betting small amounts. Of course, for these bets to be winners you need several selections to go your way, with the bigger the risk meaning the bigger the reward, and because we cover so many sports here at Bettingpro we offer plenty of tips that you could use to formulate your weekend ACCA.

However, instead of leaving you to trawl through the site picking out your favourite bets, we have picked out our favourites from this week to form a big weekend accumulator that can be placed with our friends at William Hill. To place this bet, or bet on any other sport, all you need is an online account with the bookmaker, and if you do not have one now is the perfect time to sign up because the firm is giving new customers £30 in free bets when you sign up and place a first bet of £10. It really is that simple!

So if you like this weekend's Big BettingPro Accumulator now is the time to sign in or sign up with William Hill. Good luck with your bets!

BettingPro's 253/1 ACCA for the weekend of November 23/24

£10 stake returns £2,541.64

  • Arsenal to beat Southampton & both teams to score (Football, Saturday 15:00 GMT) – Arsenal went into the international break on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City that saw their miserable run of form continue, but they do rarely lose at home so I believe they will bounce back against Southampton here. However, given how dreadful the Gunners are at the back, I fancy Saints to give their travelling fans something to cheer by hitting the back of the net.

  • Oxford United to beat Southend United & both teams to score (Football, Saturday 15:00 GMT) – Oxford United extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games with a 4-1 EFL Trophy hammering of Crawley Town last time out and they have now gone nine games without loss in League One. They continued to rack up points away from home so you have to like the chances of them beating a Southend United team who have collected just one point at home so far this season. The home side have finally started to score at Roots Hall though, so they may grab a consolation goal here.

  • Callum Smith to beat John Ryder by KO/TKO (Boxing, Saturday 22:00 GMT) – Callum Smith should enjoy a routine defence of his WBA and WBC super-middleweight titles as he looks to set up some big-money fights in 2020. Challenger John Ryder should stick around for a while, but Smith will make the most of his huge size advantage to fight at range with that excellent jab of his, wear down his opponent and then stop him during the second half of the contest.

  • Michael Page to beat Giovanni Melillo (MMA, Saturday 22:00 GMT) – This is the easiest selection for us to make. Bellator MMA are building Michael ‘Venom’ Page back up after his first career defeat and the British welterweight should make it back-to-back victories by taking out late stand-in Giovanni Melillo in short order.

  • Deontay Wilder to beat Luis Ortiz in Rounds 1-6 (Boxing, Sunday 03:00 GMT) – Luis Ortiz gave Deontay Wilder a scare previously, but it was a test that the unbeaten heavyweight champion passed as he knocked out the challenger late on. Ortiz is now 40 years old and has slowed since that first meeting, so I expect Wilder to make much more straightforward work of the rematch, stopping the challenge in the first half of the fight.

  • Jermain Defoe to score anytime during Hamilton v Rangers (Football, Sunday 12:15 GMT) – Jermain Defoe has found starts hard to come by due to Alfredo Morelos’ sensational score form for Rangers, but he could be handed a starting role this weekend due to the Colombian not returning from international duty until late in the week, and if he is then I expect the veteran striker to reward his manager with a goal. Defoe has 10 goals in 11 league appearances and netted a hat-trick against Hamilton back in October, so there is every reason to believe he can at least make it 11 in 12 here.

  • Detroit Lions -3.5 to beat Washington Redskins (American Football, Sunday 18:00 GMT) – The Detroit Lions are expected to be without starting quarterback Matthew Stafford once again on Sunday, and in his absence they have dropped back-to-back games. However, they took the loss to Chicago right down to the wire before falling to the talented Dallas Cowboys by a single score last week, so I expect the Lions to get back to winning ways at the expense of a woeful Washington Redskins team who were hammered by the New York Jets last weekend to fall to 1-9 for the season.

  • Dallas Cowboys to beat New England Patriots (American Football, Sunday 21:25 GMT) – It is not often wise to take on New England when they are at home, but I really fancy the chances of an upset here. The Patriots may be 9-1 but they have benefited massively from a soft schedule and in the two games where they have faced notable tests they have lost convincingly and narrowly scraped a win. Dallas have weapons to hurt this stout New England defense through the air and on the ground, so I am backing them to bolster their Super Bowl credentials with a headline-grabbing road win.
