Carson Wentz over 214. 5 passing yards @ 5/6 Paddy Power

Carson Wentz suffered his second loss of the season against the Legion of Boom in Seattle and it remains just as difficult for the second year pro when he faces Wade Phillips’ menacing defence in LA this Sunday. The Rams are one of the hardest teams to pass the ball against and quarterbacks are averaging 210 yards per game against them, yet this remains too low for a player of Wentz’s ability. Wentz has failed to surpass the above total in just four games this year but three of them games ended up being easy victories with little reason for the quarterback to throw the ball throughout the game. This will be different as the Rams offer a tough test with Wentz easily expected to reach 220 passing yards.

Melvin Gordon over 77.5 rushing yards @ 5/6 Paddy Power

Melvin Gordon hasn’t reached the 100 yard mark in five games but there are plenty of positives to be taken from recent outings as the Chargers go in search of their fourth successive victory. Gordon has carried the ball a total of 60 times over their three game winning streak and it seems they understand the importance of running the ball despite having an elite QB. Washington is ravaged with injuries up front and this was evident when Alfred Morris rushed for 127 yards last Thursday and Mark Ingram sliced through for 134 yards on just 11 carries in week 11. Gordon will get at least 20 carries and one big run should see Gordon reach the 100 mark once again.

Marquise Goodwin over 62.5 receiving yards @ 5/6 Paddy Power

When a new quarterback starts for a team, the first aspect we must understand is which wide receiver is he most comfortable with.  Jimmy Garappolo was excellent in his first start for the 49ers and it looks like Marquise Goodwin is his go-to-guy on the outside. Goodwin has blistering speed and usually is the deep option for Kyle Shanahan’s men but last week he was targeted on a number of routes which bodes well for the above line. Garappolo targeted Goodwin on eight occasions and it would not surprise me to see him catch a deep pass as the Texans have given up a league-high 12 completions of 40 plus yards.

Larry Fitzgerald over 77.5 receiving yards @ 5/6 Paddy Power

Larry Fitzgerald’s game has changed considerably over the years as he has settled into a different role with more routes coming from the slot position. However, he still remains one of the best receivers in the game and is Blaine Gabbert’s favourite target since donning the QB gloves for the Cardinals three games ago. He has been targeted 28 times in them matchups and faces a Tennessee Titans team that is conceding an average of 240 yards to the passing game in each match. Playing on home turf against a weak secondary should see a big game for Fitzgerald.

Cameron Brate to score a touchdown @ 16/5 with Paddy Power

Brate notched two touchdowns last week against the Green Bay Packers and it was no coincidence that this occurred when Jameis Winston returned to quarterbacking duties. The fourth year tight end is one of Winston’s favourite targets and has scored a touchdown in five of the nine games played when Winston is playing under center. 16/5 is way too big, especially when you consider the Lions are vulnerable to tight ends in the red zone.

Greg Olsen to score a touchdown @ 11/4 Paddy Power

The Vikings possess a mean defence but there is little doubt that Greg Olsen will see plenty of passes thrown in his direction on Sunday night. On form he is one of the best tight ends in the game and reports during the week said he was taking full part in training which points to a big game from the Panthers’ best receiver.
