NFL Week 11 Prop Bets Tips: The best player special picks from Sunday's NFL matches

Marcas Brennan 18 Nov 2017

Week 11 is upon us in the NFL and Player Props expert Marcas Brennan is on hand to tell us what players look set to steal the headlines.

Kirk Cousins over 264.5 passing yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power

The Washington Redskins offence is based purely on the right arm of Kirk Cousins. Yes, they have a decent running game but a lot depends on the performance of their quarterback and his ability to link with up with his receivers.  This week they face the New Orleans and I’m anticipating them to stack the box on defence and force Drew Brees to throw the ball as much as possible, especially after the amazing rushing performance by the Saints at Buffalo last week. This should mean a high scoring affair with Cousins duelling against Brees and plenty of yards for both teams’ offence.

Kareem Hunt over 92.5 rushing yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power

Kareem Hunt has been a revelation this year and all signs point to him running riot against the woeful Giants on Sunday night. Andy Reid has an amazing record when coming off a bye week and he will have a perfect game plan to dismantle their opponents with Hunt central to it. His form has dipped of late and you need to go back to week five at Houston to find the last time he posted a 100 yard game, but the Giants are struggling to contain the run of late. They have conceded a league high ten runs of 20+ yards, and were cut to shreds by Carlos Hyde last week who averaged over six yards per carry.

Derek Carr over 276.5 passing yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power

It will be a huge surprise if this game is not a high scoring affair and if the Raiders are to beat their AFC rivals they will need a big performance from their quarterback. The Patriots are still suspect at defending the pass and Carr will be looking to exploit this weakness as much as possible. He will also need to keep tabs with Tom Brady who will also exploit a tame Raiders secondary. Carr has covered the above line in his last three games and this should make it four in a row on Sunday such is the form he is in.

Stefon Diggs over 58.5 receiving yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power

Diggs has been plagued by injury all year but it wasn’t so long ago that he was leading the league in receiving yards. He is the number one receiver in Minnesota when 100% fit and he showed signs of returning to that when hauling in four receptions for 78 yards last week.  Although the Rams are on a crest of a wave at the moment, they can be exploited on the outside and Diggs has gone over 90 yards in every home game played to date in 2017.

Devante Parker over 62.5 receiving yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power

Parker is another player whose season has been blighted by injury. He missed three consecutive weeks through injury but in the past two matches he has amassed 140 yards on 11 catches since returning from a hamstring strain. There is no doubt he is Jay Cutler’s favourite deep target and this week the Dolphins are up against a team who are woeful at defending the pass when the Buccaneers come to Miami.

Jordan Howard first touchdown scorer @ 6/1 with William Hill

Jordan Howard has been a serious workhorse for the Chicago Bears this year with 15 plus carries in all bar two of the games played to date. When the Bears play at home they tend to place a huge emphasis on the run game and if they are to reach the red zone early in the game they will look to score on the ground rather than through the air. Howard is more than due, having not gained a TD since week four and looks good value for the opening score of the match.

Tyler Kroft to score a touchdown @ 3/1 with Paddy Power

Last week Kroft let us down in the same market but we’re not deserting the big tight end just yet as he faces another team that gives up some big plays to his position. The Broncos have two excellent cover men which forces teams to throw inside more often, which is a huge advantage for our bet. Although he only had one catch last week, Dalton did target him six times during the game and he remains a big red zone target.
