Marcas Brennan was in the winner’s circle again last week including a 5/2 winner and the player props expert is on hand to see who is in line to grab the headlines in the NFL.

Leonard Fournette over 90.5 rushing yards

Leonard Fournette became a non-runner for this column last week when he was dropped from the squad after breaking team protocol in the build up to the Bengals game. This means one of the best rushers has an extra seven days of freshness under the belt, and will be running with serious intent against one of the worst rush defences in the league. The Chargers are conceding 4.7 yards per carry to opposing running backs and are in the top five for yards conceded in the running game. The Jaguars have a simple game plan which is play strong defence and control the clock with a smash- mouth running game.

LeSean McCoy over 99.5 rushing & receiving yards

Another side who are conceding heavily on the ground is the New Orleans Saints with rushers averaging 4.7 yards per carry against them. Sean Payton’s defence has made giant strides in the past few weeks with their secondary locking up opposing receivers and the defensive line finding ways to pressure the quarterback. However, they can be gashed on the ground and I’m anticipating the Buffalo Bills to attack them with their best player LeSean McCoy. The Bills have had 10 days to prepare for this and will hand the ball often and early to their running back who has surpassed the above mark in three of the four games played at home so far.

Tyler Kroft to score a touchdown

The Titans have allowed 21 catches to tight ends over the past three weeks and it’s an area of the game that can be exploited. Tyler Kroft isn’t a household name on the NFL circuit but he does provide a big body target for Andy Dalton and accumulated 125 yards for 7 catches in his last two games. Kroft is in form and has scored a touchdown in two of the four games played to date on the road for the Bengals. A price too big to resist.

Devonta Freeman over 57.5 rushing yards

This selection may surprise a few as the amount of touches Freeman gets on Sunday is questionable. As the Falcons own a pass first orientated offence, Freeman’s touches do tend to be less than 20 per game but I have a feeling the Cowboys run defence has its flaws.  These flaws haven’t been exploited as they’ve controlled the ball in recent games with the running of Ezekiel Elliott, but he is suspended Sunday and this match may have a different outlook. Freeman blitzed the Cowboys for 141 yards the last time the pair met and I’m expecting him to play a key role again Sunday.

DeAndre Hopkins over 60.5 receiving yards

This line would be considerably higher if there was another quarterback under centre for the Texans. Hope has diminished in Houston since the injury to rookie sensation Deshaun Watson but one thing remains and that is the amount of times DeAndre Hopkins will be thrown the ball when suiting up. In the past two games the ball has been thrown his direction a staggering 27 times and even though Tom Savage was quarterback last week, he still managed to top 86 yards. This week they will be up against the high flying LA Rams and it would be no surprise if the Texans fall behind early and are forced to throw the ball as much as possible.
