NFL Sunday predictions for Week 7 of the 2017 NFL season. Who will win the Super Bowl rematch between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots, and can the Minnesota Vikings keep the heat on Green Bay in the NFC North? Read on for all of our free predictions and betting tips.

Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings (18:00 BST)

The Minnesota Vikings have the NFC North title firmly in their sights following a massive Week 6 showdown with Green Bay at the US Bank Stadium. Not only did the Vikings move level with the Packers on 4-2, they also saw their divisional rivals lose star quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a potentially season-ending injury. Suddenly the North has been blown wide open and Minnesota, riding a two-game win streak, should be able to stake their claim with a win over a Baltimore Ravens team that lost at home to Chicago a week ago and continues to be absolutely dreadful on offense.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (18:00 BST)

Jacksonville may sit top of the AFC South heading into Week 7, but at .500 they continue to lack consistency and if they cannot start stringing together some victories – something they have not done this season – they could soon find themselves off the summit. They have an opportunity to put two wins between themselves and divisional rivals Indianapolis when the two teams go head to head on Sunday and I like their chances. The Colts are still waiting on the return of Andrew Luck and while stand-in Jacoby Brissett has been doing a decent job, he and the rest of the offense is going to struggle against a Jaguars defense that has been earning plenty of plaudits this season. That Jags D should, once again, drag the team to a victory.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills (18:00 BST)

The Buffalo Bills went into their bye week on the back of a disappointing defeat at Cincinnati and their mood will not have been lifted by the fact New England replaced them at the top of the AFC East as they could only look on last Sunday. However, the Bills are back in action this weekend and I am backing them to make a winning return to keep the heat on the Patriots. They are taking on a Tampa Bay team that have now lost back-to-back games and are struggling on defense, and although starting quarterback Jameis Winston will be in action, he will almost certainly be hampered by that sprained ACL joint. This is all a recipe for disaster when visiting Orchard Park so I am backing the Bills to take the 'W' by a touchdown at least.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (21:25 BST)

Just one week after Pittsburgh slumped to a home defeat and saw Ben Roethlisberger question his own future after a five-interception showing, the Steelers ended the unbeaten start of the Kansas City Chiefs and suddenly thrust themselves back into a role of contender for the AFC crown. Their two defeats have, surprisingly, come against teams with sub .500 records so there is an air of unpredictability surrounding them just now, but with Le’Veon Bell hitting his stride after a slow start to the season the Steelers are a good bet to make it back-to-back wins on Sunday. They are 16-5 against the Bengals in the past decade and while Cincinnati have improved in recent weeks, I am not convinced they are at a stage where they can walk into Heinz Field and leave with the ‘W’.

Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants (21:25 BST)

Hands up who had the New York Giants to register their first win of the season by beating the Denver Broncos at Mile High. I am guessing not many of you have your hands up right now, but that is what happened as they overcame injuries to their top three receivers to overcome the Broncos thanks to a solid showing by a defense that stuffed the run and forced three turnovers. However, I am not getting carried away with that. Next up is a meeting with the Seattle Seahawks and that defense will almost certainly stuff whatever offense the Giants produce here, with Russell Wilson & Co. doing enough with the football to ensure the Seahawks return home with a ‘W’. And of course, with two stiff defenses on show this should play out as a low-scoring game.

Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots (01:30 BST Monday)

The last time these two teams met they produced an historic matchup as New England came back from the dead to force the first overtime in Super Bowl history, and not content with that they completed the comeback to inflict a defeat on Atlanta that the Falcons franchise will probably never truly get over. So will the Falcons get their revenge or will the Patriots avoid a third home defeat of the season? It is tough to call. This New England defense has not been able to stop anybody this season, but Tom Brady & Co. have been having no problems moving the football and scoring points on offense to ensure the Patriots are heading up the AFC East. But they have lost twice at home. The Falcons offense, on the other hand, should reignite against this woeful defense, but having lost their last two games I am not convinced they can get the job done either. Therefore I suggest betting on Total Points and going over 60. This could turn into a shoot-out.
