NHL betting tips from Bettingpro.com's expert, including the best bets from Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators at Calgary Flames.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins (00:00 GMT on Sunday)

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins meet for the third time this season. Boston drew first blood 5-1 at home last November 10 before Toronto bounced back with a 4-2 home win on November 26. The Maple Leafs (20-8-1, 41 points) had their five-game winning streak snapped by the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday after suffering a 5-4 home loss. The Canadian side trailed 4-1 after two periods before John Tavares, Zach Hyman and Andreas Johnsson countered with goal to force overtime. However, their comeback bid was quashed when Dylan Larkin nailed the game winner 2:48 into the extra period. Kasperi Kapanen also scored for Toronto while back-up goalie Garret Sparks had 27 saves. The Bruins (14-10-4, 32 points), meanwhile, are hoping to end a three-game skid. They are coming off a 3-2 loss at Tampa Bay on Thursday. David Pastrnak and David Krejci paced Boston with a goal apiece. We expect Toronto to pick up another win over Boston.

Nashville Predators at Calgary Flames (03:00 GMT on Sunday)

The Calgary Flames host the Nashville Predators at the Scotiabank Saddledome in the third and final meeting between the division leaders in the regular season. The Flames beat the Predators 3-0 in Nashville last October 9 before the Predators bounced back with a 5-3 win in their rematch in Canada 10 days later. The Central Division-leading Predators (19–9-1, 39 points) head to Calgary after suffering a 5-3 loss at Vancouver on Thursday night. Ryan Hartman, Colton Sissons and Matt Irwin scored for Nashville, who trailed 5-1 at one point. The loss ended their two-game winning streak. Nashville were without key players Filip Forsberg, Viktor Arvidsson, PK Subban and Kyle Turris, who are all on the injured reserve list. The Pacific Division-best Flames (18-9-2, 38 points), meanwhile, extended their winning run to four games after taming the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Elias Lindholm scored both goals while Mike Smith made 31 saves to lead Calgary. The bad news for the Flames is defenceman Mark Giordano and winger Ryan Lomberg have both been ruled out of this game after being slapped with suspensions for the infractions they committed against the Wild. Giordano was meted a two-game ban for kneeing Mikko Koivu while Lomberg was given a one-game ban for fighting Matt Dumba. Despite their absence, we are backing the Flames to triumph in this duel.
