NHL betting tips from Bettingpro.com's expert, including the best bets from Boston Bruins at Columbus Blue Jackets and San Jose Sharks at Colorado Avalanche.

Boston Bruins at Columbus Blue Jackets (00:00 BST on Tuesday) - Eastern Conference Semi-finals Game 6

The Boston Bruins will try to finish off the Columbus Blue Jackets in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semi-final duel. Bruce Cassidy’s boys took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series after securing a 4-3 win at the TD Garden on Saturday. David Pastrnak scored twice while Brad Marchand had a goal and two assists to lead the Bruins to their second consecutive win in the series. Pastrnak scored 11:16 into the final period to give Boston a 3-1 lead and nailed the go-ahead goal with 1:28 left after Columbus countered with two goals to tie the scores. David Krejci also scored for the Bruins while Tuukka Rask had 33 saves. Seth Jones, Ryan Dzingel and Dean Kukan each scored a goal for Columbus while Sergei Bobrovsky had 32 saves. Marchand, who has four points in their last two games after failing to pick up a point in the first three games of the series, leads the Bruins with 13 points. He will team up with Pastrnak, Krejci and Patrice Bergeron in leading Boston in their goal to reach the conference finals for the first time since 2013 when they eventually lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup finals. Should the Bruins win, they will next face the Carolina Hurricanes. Rod Brind'Amour’s wards earlier advanced to the next phase after sweeping the New York Islanders in their semi-final duel. We are backing the Blue Jackets to force a deciding game back to Beantown.

San Jose Sharks at Colorado Avalanche (03:00 BST on Tuesday) - Western Conference Semi-finals Game 6

The San Jose Sharks head to Denver with the aim of clinching their Western Conference semi-final duel against the Colorado Avalanche. Peter DeBoer’s troops seized a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series after pulling off a 2-1 home win on Saturday. Tomas Hertl scored San Jose’s two goals, including the game winner 6:26 into the final period. Logan Couture, Erik Karlsson, Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Joonas Donskoi each issued an assist as the Sharks moved a win away from reaching the conference finals - a feat they last achieved in 2016 when they went on to lose to the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games in the Stanley Cup finals. Martin Jones made 21 saves to make up for his struggles in their 3-0 defeat in Game 4. Tyson Jost scored Colorado’s lone goal while Philipp Grubauer made 37 saves. Hertl improved his goals tally to eight in the play-offs and he currently has 12 points. He will team up with Couture, Karlsson and Brent Burns in their goal to clinch the series in the Mile High City. The Avalanche are determined to force a deciding game back to San Jose and leading the club in that quest are Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, who both have 13 points in the post-season but were held without a point in Game 5. We are backing the Avalanche to bounce back in this duel.
