NHL betting tips from Bettingpro.com's expert, including the best bets from Washington Capitals at Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks at Los Angeles Kings.

Washington Capitals at Nashville Predators (01:00 GMT on Wednesday)

One winning run will end after the duel between the Nashville Predators and Washington Capitals at the Bridgestone Arena. The Predators (9-5-2) have won their last four games to stay in third place in the Central Division with 20 points. They are coming off a 5-4 shootout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins last Saturday in a rematch of last season's Stanley Cup finals. Filip Forsberg and Kevin Fiala scored in the shootout as the Predators avenged their defeat to the Penguins in Pittsburgh last October 7 and in last season's championship series. The Capitals (10-7-1), meanwhile, posted wins over Pittsburgh (4-1) and Edmonton (2-1 SO) to move in a three-way tie with Columbus and Pittsburgh in second place in the Metropolitan Division. Nashville won both meetings against Washington last season and we expect the same result in this contest.

Vancouver Canucks at Los Angeles Kings (03:30 GMT on Wednesday)

Pacific Division rivals Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks square off at the Staples Center. The Kings (11-4-2) have lost two in a row and three of their last four games but they remain on top of the division with 24 points. The Kings are coming off a 1-2 home defeat to the San Jose Sharks on Sunday with Dustin Brown scoring the team's lone goal. The fifth-ranked Canucks (8-7-2, 18 points) have also lost two in a row and three of four and are also coming off a loss at San Jose (0-5). Offensive leaders Brock Boeser, Bo Horvat and Sven Baertschi are all determined to make up for their lackluster performance against the Sharks. Los Angeles and Vancouver split their four meetings last season and we are backing the Kings to win this match-up.
