Following a great start to his tips with us, BettingPro's new expert Nigel Seeley offers his three best bets for the QBE Shootout.

The QBE Shootout

It was another near miss for Bettingpro golf punters last weekend when Tony Finau our 16/1 selection finished in runner-up spot to Jon Rahm at the Hero World Challenge

That is two seconds and a 12/1 winner for us in the last month and we now head into December with money in our pockets and in confident mood in finding the winner of this weeks QBE Shootout, from Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton Resort, Naples, Florida.

This years it's the 30th anniversary of the event which was previously known as the Shark-Shootout and it looks a wide open field.

Three From The Tee

1) Bryson DeChambeau and Kevin Na @ 11/2 with Paddy Power

The bookies are finding it hard to make a clear favourite with the pairing of Bryson DeChambeau and Kevin Na just holding top spot at 11/2 with most layers.

This duo look a formidable partnership with DeChambeau enjoying a fantastic campaign last season and certain to be destined to bigger and better things and with Na having one of the best short games in golf they do compliment each other nicely, but I am not sure whether this title is on their Christmas wish-list and for that reason I am not tempted by the prices.

Second favourites at 6/1 are Cameron Champ and Kevin Kisner and they will again be popular with golf punters.

Champ has a big future in golf and is always a player that gets the betting public parting with their cash but he hasn't made them profit as of yet, Kisner has some experience at this event, but at 6/1 it is a no from me.

2) Billy Horschel and Brandt Snedeker @ 6/1 with BetVictor

Next in the betting is the duo that immediately jump of the page to me as potential winners and that's long hitting BILLY HORSCHEL and BRANDT SNEDEKER.

This partnership has great experience and compliment each other very well with Horschel one of the longest ball hitters on the PGA Tour and Snedeker still one of the best putters, if not the best when he's on his A game.

Snedeker was runner-up in the season opener at the Safeway Open and Horschel ended last year with some impressive results and both are in-form and do well at team events.

Snedeker is a dream partner for anyone and won this event in 2015 with another big ball striker in Jason Dufner and in five of the last six years, Horschel has finished in the top five at the shoot-out and regardless of the bookies odds, this for me is the pairing to beat.

3) Charles Howell III and Luke List @ 9/1 with BetVictor

CHARLES HOWELL III will be the most popular winner in the 2019 season already after his success after 10 years of waiting at RSM Classic last month and I like his chances to be in the winners enclosure again this week with his partner LUKE LIST at 9/1 with most firms.

Howell III ended 10 years of hurt and will arrive in Naples in confident mood and full of joy after gaining a US Masters spot after his win.

List, is another long hitter, not the best on the greens but with two top four finishes in his three starts this season so far he will be happy with his game and if this duo get off to a good start will be hard to peg back.

4) Tony Finau and Lexi Thompson @ 16/1 @ Paddy Power

I am going to take a punt on the partnership of TONY FINAU and LEXI THOMPSON as my final selection at the general 16/1.

This partnership finished fourth last year and Finau is the star on show this week and played some beautiful golf at the Hero World Challenge last week to finish, unfortunately for us in second spot.

Thompson really struggled last year to play off the men's tees, but still managed a fourth finish and this year she arrives at Naples with a win on the course after success at the LPGA Tour Championships which were held at Tiburon just a fortnight ago.
