Nigel Seeley’s three from the tee for the Trophee Hassan II

Trophee Hassan II betting tips for this week. Read on for our expert tips for the Trophee Hassan II taking place on the Red Course at Royal Dar Es Salam.

Trophee Hassan II

The European Tour moves from the Middle East to Morocco this week for the Trophee Hassan II from the Red Course at Royal Dar Es Salam.

This has a quite a competitive look about the tournament with the favourite installed at 16/1 and despite that competitiveness look about the event I am finding it very hard to look away from the market leaders for my three off the tee selections.

Three From The tee

Joost Luiten @ 16/1 bet365
* Odds correct at 11:15 BST on 23/04/2019

Tournament favourite JOOST LUITEN has been a player that I have been looking to get at a nice price over the next few weeks and in a below par field this week the general 16/1 on the Dutchman just looks too good to ignore.

The six time European Tour winner has come very close to winning his seventh title over the last couple of months with an impressive third in the big money Abu Dhabi Championships at the start of the year followed up with a sixth at the Saudi International a top 10 finish at the WGC-Mexico Championship and a 12th finish in his last European Tour start at the Oman Open. All those events featured World class fields and with a ninth finish at this event and two top 15s in three of his last four starts he has massive claims for a lucky seventh win this weekend.

Nacho Elvira @ 25/1 William Hill

Another player who is doing everything but win at the moments is Spain's NACHO ELVIRA and he looks the each-way play at 25/1 which is available at a couple of bookies.

Elvira was a runner-up at this event in 2016 and that had been his best performance on the European Tour which he matched last month with another runners-up spot at the Maybank Championships.

The 32 year-old has yet to win a European Tour event, but this is the kind of low calibre tournament which has the potential to throw out first time winners and with no worse than a sixth finish in his last three starts and a runner-up and the venue I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Elvira competing in and amongst the leaders at the weekend.

Andy Sullivan @ 25/1 William Hill

Arguably the best player on show this week is former European Cup star ANDY SULLIVAN and in this company 25/1 might look a big price on a three time proven European Tour winner next Monday morning.

Sullivan burst onto the World golf stage with his appearance in the 2016 Ryder Cup and since then his form his dipped considerably, but in recent weeks he's showing signs of return and the time looks right to catch the Englishman with a winning return highly likely.

Sullivan, finished in seventh place at the Maybank Championships last month, which was his best shown of the year and that was on the back of just finishing outside the top 10 in 11th spot at the Qatar Masters two weeks previous and he is heading into one of his favourite events in great shape. The 31 year-old finished in 7th spot here last year and with another top 10 finish and a runner-up at this venue over the last seven years he is one to have on your side this week.

Two big prices players who just missed out on places in the final three were ANDREA PAVAN at 66/1 and PAUL WARING also at 66/1 both are in decent form coming into this event and both have excellent recent records at this venue and at a big price they are a couple to keep an eye on.
