According to bookmaker Coral, Rory McIlroy and Francisco Molinari are the two best-backed players to win this year’s latest Major tournament at 6/1 and 18/1 respectively.

The firm is also reporting that a number of European players in their book are proving popular, with Tommy Fleetwood a contender to be one of Coral’s worst results following a surge of each-way bets on the Englishman.

“It is the European players we fear the most this week with Rory McIlroy and Francesco Molinari sitting as our two worst results by some distance,” Coral’s John Hill told Bettingpro.com.

“Tommy Fleetwood has had his fair share of supporters and we have lots of Tiger Roll and Tiger Woods doubles rolling onto the tournament.

“However, of the top six in the betting, Tiger has seen the least interest.”
