Byron Nelson Classic betting tips for this week. Read on for our expert tips for the Byron Nelson Classic taking place at Trinity Forest GC in Dallas, Texas.

Byron Nelson Classic

It’s the Byron Nelson Classic over on the PGA Tour this week with all the action coming from a venue that debuted last year at this long established event Trinity Forest GC. Dallas Texas.

This isn't the best of fields that line-up this week and it's headed by Brooks Koepka who looks a worthy favourite at 7/1, but the two time major winner is playing his first event since his anguish at Augusta and he's never played at this venue and that is a concern for anyone taking the short odds.

Next in the betting is a man who I have given far too many chances to already this season and that is Hideki Matsuyama at 18/1 and I am not prepared to go in again and a man that I won't give any chances too on his current form Jordan Spieth who is available at 22/1.

Three From The Tee

Aaron Wise @ 25/1 William Hill

I believe that last year’s performances at this event are very important factor when looking for a winner this time around as it was the only course form we have to go on and my selections will have a familiar look about them from last year’s leader-board and my main selection is defending champion AARON WISE who gets my vote to successfully defend his title at the general price of 25/1.

Wise won his first PGA title last year by an impressive three shot margin and an even more impressive -23 with three rounds of 65 or less on his way to his first tour success. Although Wise has never had the pressure of defending a title the manner of last year’s victory and top 20 finishes in his last two starts and five in total this season, I make him a wise selection at the generous odds available in a field that won't take much winning.

Marc Leishman @ 33/1 Ladbrokes

Last year's runner-up was Australian MARC LEISHMAN and the Aussie looks worth backing to go one better this week at 33/1 which is available with Ladbrokes.

Keith Mitchell @ 35/1 bet365
* Odds correct at 11:35 BST on 7/5/2019

To complete the 1-2-3 of last year you've got to look at the man who finished third in 2018 as a rookie and that is KEITH MITCHELL at 35/1 with bet365.

Mitchell is proving one of the players of 2019 on the PGA Tour after his maiden success at PGA National two months ago he's shown that 300/1 win was no fluke with a 6th at Bay Hill and a 8th finish last week at Quail Hollow, and in the best form of his career and at an event and a venue where he plays really well, you can't ignore his credentials at a very nice price.

Leishman led alongside Wise going into the final round last year and after opening with a course record 61 he knows the venue will and is in great form to put in a good display again this year with five top 10 finishes on the season so far and a tournament success isn't that far away.
