Aston Villa 2/1 to embarrass West Brom and claim another victory.

This Friday sees the return of the West Midlands Derby, as West Brom host Aston Villa at the Hawthorns. The two side were enjoying hugely different campaigns earlier in the season, but with West Brom stumbling of late and Villa flying, the gap between the two has been cut to just four points.

Last time out, the Baggies drew 1-1 with Brentford in a very disappointing match as they conceded in the 91st minute of the game. Aston Villa on the other hand come into this one following a fantastic 3-0 win over Middlesbrough as they left the Riverside with all three points.

While West Brom come into this on the back of a draw, they will not need any encouragement for this one, with the bragging rights of the city on the line in the derby. As things stand, Aston Villa can be backed at 2/1 with Ladbrokes, while West Brom are the favourites at 5/4, with a draw available at 13/5. While the Baggies may be the side that are fancied to win this one, Villa offer very good value, especially when considering the fact that they hammered high-flying Middlesbrough 3-0 in their last away game.

Ladbrokes - West Brom vs Aston Villa Winner betting odds:

West Brom - 5/4

Draw - 13/5

Aston Villa - 2/1
