Serie A betting tips: 3 best bets for the games between December 7-9

Ben Darvill 10 Dec 2018

Serie A 3 best bets for the games between December 7-9. Read on for our 3 best bets for the games in La Liga this weekend including Torino's interesting trip to face AC Milan on Sunday.

Juventus vs Inter Milan (Friday, 19:30 GMT)

The game of the weekend sees league leaders Juventus host Inter Milan on Friday evening. Juve have been awesome so far, sweeping all before them aside, with the only time they have dropped points coming against Genoa back on October 20th. Their form at home makes them huge favourites to win this one, and the visitors know they play in their toughest fixture of the season this week. Inter have won nine times this season, while they have only tasted defeat in three games. Scoring 27 goals and conceding 12 is impressive, and it is the best record in the league when omitting Juventus from consideration. Despite their strong start to the season, we cannot see Inter winning against Juventus at their own stadium despite the fact they have won four of their seven away games this year. While the home team offer little value in the standard winner market, they do offer some in the half-time/full-time market. Juve have been leading at half-time in eight of their 13 games, while they have gone onto win seven of these matches, while Inter have struggled for wins recently, winning just one of their last three matches in the league, including a loss and a draw away from home.

Sassuolo vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 11:30 GMT)

Sassuolo are enjoying a very promising season so far, with the 20 points they have picked up seeing the side into eighth in the league. The home outfit have won five of their opening 14, while they have drawn five and lost four, with the 21 goals they have scored an impressive tally that eclipses the likes of Lazio (20 goals). Fiorentina have also been good this season, although they sit two points behind their next opponents after winning four of their 14 matches. Neither of the two sides have been in the best of form recently, but this match gives Sassuolo a great chance to get back to winning ways. Visitors Fiorentina have not won a single game in their last seven, while they are yet to win on the road in seven attempts. Sassuolo on the other hand have won three of their seven home games this year, and they are looking to make their home matches ones in which the wins flow. While we do think that it will be a home win at the weekend, we are wary of the fact that Fiorentina have drawn four of their seven away games this season, while they drew all five of their games between October 21st to November 25th, meaning we are recommending backing Sassuolo in the Draw No Bet market, which provides a lot more protection for your bet even if it does sacrifice some value.

AC Milan vs Torino (Sunday, 19:30 GMT)

AC Milan are continuing to impress this year, with their run of wins seeing them cut the gap between themselves and third-placed Inter Milan to just four points. Seven wins in this times have come with 24 goals, with Milan looking closer to the Italian force they once were, although they do still have some way to go to match the glory days of old. Torino arrive with five wins under their belt following a good start to their campaign. 19 goals scored is a good scoring record, but they have conceded 16 goals, showing they are not a side that are massively outscoring the amount they concede. At home, Milan have lost just once all season, and that came in a 2-0 loss to Juventus. Torino have been exceptionally impressive on the road, winning twice and drawing five games this year. The stats convey that a draw might not be a bad bet in this one, with the away team adept at picking up a share of the points. However, we feel that Milan’s home record is fantastic, and they would likely have won six of their seven games in front of their home fans had they played anyone bar Juventus. In order to increase the value on a Milan win, we recommend backing both sides to score. Milan have only been stifled completely on two different occasions, while they have scored in every home game of the season. Tornio have also been good going forward, also failing to score in only two games.
