Seire A betting tips: 5 best bets for the games between October 5-7

Seire A betting tips:  5 best bets for the games between October 5-7. The best bets for the weekend games in Serie A.

Torino vs Frosinone (Friday, 19:30 BST)

Torino claimed their second win of the season last weekend as they clinched a 1-0 away win over Chievo on Sunday. Simone Zaza scored in the 88th minute to give the away side a deserved win, and this should see confidence skyrocket, especially with the visit of struggling Frosinone to come. The visitors are yet to win a single game in the league this season, and they have picked up just one point thus far. The fact they have scored just once and conceded a league high 18 goals is incredibly worrying for the side, and they are spared the bottom by the fact Chievo were deducted points this season. On current form, this game has only one winner, and Torino will feel this is a must-win.

Udinese vs Juventus (Saturday, 17:00 BST)

Udinese fell to yet another defeat on Sunday as their season continued in very inconsistent fashion. The side were ousted 2-1 by struggling Bologna to see the threat of relegation deepen, and they will be desperate to get some points under their belts after losing their last two games in a row. However, they face the reigning-champions Juventus in a match that will be anything but three easy points. Juve have been awesome so far, winning seven of their games without a point being dropped, while they have scored 16 times and conceded just five. Their biggest challenge of the season so far came against Napoli, but the second-placed side were beaten 3-1 as Juventus opened up a six point lead at the top. Juventus will not want to let this massive win be for nothing, meaning another victory is all they have their sights on.

Empoli vs Roma (Saturday, 19:30 BST)

Emploi have been struggling massively this season and they are already being earmarked as a side that will be battling in and around the relegation zone come the end of the season. A single win in seven attempts is not good enough, while two draws, four losses and only five goals scored shows they have been very poor. Roma arrive on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Lazio as they made it two wins in two. The side were made to work for the points against their opponents, but it was testament to their character that they came through a tough test with all three points. Empoli will be desperate to take something from the match, but Roma have some very talented players that can change a game in an instant, and they seem to be hitting form once again, and for that reason, we are backing the away side.

Genoa vs Parma (Sunday, 11:30 BST)

Genoa won their fourth game of the campaign at the weekend as they made it four wins from six and, with a game in hand, they could rise to as high as second if they are to make the most of their advantage. A 2-1 win over Frosinone was perhaps not the most impressive of wins, but away victories are not particularly easy to come by, and they should not be disregarded, even if they come against a side in the relegation zone. Parma arrive sitting in ninth in the league with 10 points, meaning they are five clear of the relegation zone and two points short of their next opponents. A 1-0 win over Empoli in their last game was a positive result, but we do not feel that they will have enough against a Genoa team full of confidence.

Lazio vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 14:00 BST)

Lazio’s last game ended in a disappointing loss at the hands of Roma as they lost for the first time in five games in all competitions. Despite the defeat, the home side sit in seventh in the league with 12 points, just two behind Napoli in second. Lazio have not looked like the same ridiculous free-scoring side of last year, but they are steadily improving, and it will be interesting to see whether they can bounce back from their latest setback quickly. Opponents Fiorentina have been fantastic this season, winning four of their seven games and scoring 14 times in the process. They will feel that this is a game they can win, although Lazio will beg to differ in what could prove to be a feisty clash. With this in mind, we are backing two sides that have scored 24 goals between them to continue the trend of hitting the back of the net.
