Premier League Saturday 3pm Predictions
Bournemouth v Middlesbrough predictions & betting tips
This is a big match for both clubs. Bournemouth are seven points clear of the relegation zone with just five games to play and a win here may prove to be enough to keep them in the top flight for another season. Middlesbrough, meanwhile, simply have to win this match because they are now six points from safety after the Monday night loss to Arsenal – a result that extended their winless run in the Premier League to 15 games. However, I do not see them leaving the South Coast with anything other than a defeat. Boro continue to struggle in front of goal and they are dreadful on their travels, so that makes them perfect opposition for a Bournemouth side looking to get back to winning ways after defeats to the top two.
Hull City v Watford predictions & betting tips
Hull City are sitting precariously above the relegation zone heading into this weekend, with only two points separating them and the bottom three. Back-to-back away defeats have left the Tigers looking nervously over their shoulder so they will be relieved to be back on home turf for their latest outing because their recent form at the KCOM Stadium has been strong. Marco Silva’s side have won each of their last three home games to extend their unbeaten run in East Yorkshire to seven games and I fancy them to keep this fine form going with three more points against a Watford side that have lost their last three on their travels and have won only one away game since mid-October.
Swansea City v Stoke City predictions & betting tips
Swansea City’s losing run reached three games with the 1-0 defeat at Watford a week ago and they have now taken just one point from their last six matches in the Premier League. That sequence has left them in the bottom three, but they could climb to safety with three points this Saturday. The question is, can they beat Stoke City? The Potters halted a four-game losing run by winning last weekend’s home match against Hull City, but they continue to perform poorly on their travels having taken just four points form their last nine away games, so I am going to back Swansea to capitalise on that travel sickness to record what could be a massive victory for them.
West Ham United v Everton predictions & betting tips
Back-to-back wins over Leicester City and Burnley have kept Everton firmly in the fight for a top-six finish and they will be aiming to keep the pressure on Manchester United and Arsenal when they head to the former Olympic Stadium on Saturday. But can they leave London with the spoils? The Toffees have failed to win any of their last five away games in the Premier League, but they are coming up against a West Ham United side that have won only one of their last nine league games and have performed poorly at home this season. I fancy Everton to claim all three points.
