Pep Guardiola is odds-on to sensationally quit Manchester City for Juventus this summer, according to bookmaker William Hill.

The Italian champions are on the hunt for a new manager following the announcement that current boss, Massimiliano Allegri, will leave the club at the end of the 2018/19 campaign, and unsurprisingly a string of high-profile bosses have been linked with a switch to Turin.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to leave Chelsea after the Europa League Final clash with Arsenal on May 29, and according to reports Juventus are interested in appointing the former Napoli chief should he head back to his native Italy.

As a result Sarri is a leading contender at 4/1, but there has been a massive change at the head of the betting over the past 24 hours following a flurry of support for Guardiola to ditch English treble-winners Manchester City and take up the post in Turin.

Guardiola won multiple titles in both Spain and Germany before making the move to England a few years ago, and the 2018/19 proved to be his most successful English campaign to date as he led City to back-to-back Premier League titles and a clean sweep of the domestic silverware by winning both the League Cup and the FA Cup.

However, his quest for European glory ended in disappointment once again thanks to another Champions League exit at the hands of a domestic rival, and according to both the Italian and Spanish media it is that failure that has him heading for the Etihad Stadium exit.

Juventus’ sporting director has been pictured arriving at the same Milan hotel where Guardiola is currently staying, while an Italian reporter has claimed on social media that it is a ‘done deal’, reporting that Guardiola has inked a four-year contract with the Italian kingpins and could be unveiled as early as June 14.

As a result, Guardiola is now into 8/11 to become the next Juventus manager with William Hill, making him the shock new favourite in the betting market ahead of 4/1 Sarri, 9/1 Jose Mourinho and 10/1 Antonio Conte.
