Dijon v PSG (16:00 BST)

Paris Saint-Germain travel to Dijon on Saturday seeking their eighth win of the campaign as the capital side continues its bid to dethrone defending Ligue 1 champions Monaco. Paris have won seven and drawn one of their eight league fixtures this term, scoring a superb 27 goals in the process. Edison Cavani (8) and Neymar (6) have 14 of those strikes between them and both players will be confident of adding to their tallies on their return from international duty. Cavani was on target for Uruguay in their 4-2 win over Bolivia as they booked their place at Russia 2018 and though Neymar failed to emulate his club teammate's exploits whilst in action for Brazil, he will be joining the Uruguayan at the World Cup after the The Green and Yellow topped South American qualifying. They'll be up against a Dijon outfit who are winless in four and sitting just a point above the drop zone on six points. PSG thumped sixth placed Bordeaux 6-2 last time out and we expect more goals here and Saint-Germain -2 is looking good.

Caen v Angers SCO (19:00 BST)

High-flying Caen welcome Angers SCO to Stade Michel d'Ornano on Saturday evening looking to build on their positive start to the 2017/18 campaign. After kicking off the new term with back-to-back defeats Caen went on to win five of their next six league outings to leave them fifth in the table heading into Matchday 9. That's a dramatic improvement for a side that only narrowly avoided relegation last season. They face an Angers side without a win since Matchday 2 but who have proven difficult to beat with six draws under their belt thus far. They've taken a point from two other top six sides to date (Marseille and Bordeaux) and we fancy them to do the same again this weekend.

Guingamp v Rennes (19:00 BST)

Guingamp and Rennes will look to put some indifferent form behind them when the sides clash at Stade du Roudourou on Saturday evening. The hosts are winless in two, while the visitors haven't tasted victory in their last three Ligue 1 outings. EAG have registered three wins this term, though, compared to a solitary victory for Rennes. They've won two of their last five league outings and are tipped to edge this contest.

Lille v Troyes (19:00 BST)

Lille entertain Troyes at Stade Pierre-Mauroy this weekend bidding to secure just their second win of the campaign and we're backing Marcelo Bielsa's side to come good despite their 4-0 thumping at the hands of champions Monaco last time out. That defeat came on the back of a 1-0 loss at Guingamp but LOSC had taken points from Anger (1-1) and Bordeaux (0-0) prior to that. Lille had also taken the lead at Amiens in their last scheduled fixture but the game was abandoned after a barrier in the stands collapsed, injuring four supporters. They take on a Troyes side who have won back-to-back games in the French top flight but it's only a matter of time before Lille come good and we suspect that will be this Saturday.

Saint-Étienne v Metz (19:00 BST)

Saint-Étienne look set for a return to winning ways when they lock horns with struggling Metz on Saturday. Les Verts, who come into the clash in seventh in the league standings, went down 2-1 at Troyes last time out but should bounce back against bottom of the table Metz. The visitors have scored just one victory this term and lost all seven of their other Ligue 1 fixtures. Metz have conceded 14 league goals but PSG were responsible for five of those and their last two defeats were narrow ones, losing 1-0 at home to Troyes and 1-0 away to Nantes. Another tight encounter is expected here and a win for the hosts predicted.

Toulouse v Amiens SC (19:00 BST)

Ligue 1 strugglers Toulouse and Amiens SC face off at Stadium Municipal on Saturday evening with both sides looking to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three. Toulouse come into the clash sitting four places and three points above the drop zone and winless in four, while Amiens are two places and two points beneath them in 16th thanks to a 1-0 loss at Caen last time out. These sides have managed just two wins apiece so far this term and we don't feel there'll be much to separate them on the pitch this weekend either and will punt on a draw.
