The 2017-18 La Liga season has reached its 22nd round of matches on the weekend of February 2-5 and we have picked out the best bet available on each of Saturday’s four games.

Eibar vs Sevilla – Draw @ 12/5 with William Hill (12:00 GMT kick-off)

Both of these clubs will be hoping to play European football next season, probably in the Europa League unless Sevilla can cause a huge shock by winning the Champions League this term, and a share of the spoils looks likely when they meet at the Ipurua.

The last two meetings of these clubs at this venue in the Basque region have finished 1-1 and while Sevilla have not drawn away from home in La Liga during this campaign, losing seven of their 11 matches on the road, their recent form has been encouraging since Vincenzo Montella took charge.

Real Betis vs Villarreal – Draw @ 5/2 with BetVictor (15:15 GMT)

This is another match in which we fancy a stalemate even though Villarreal have struck a terrific seam of form, winning their last four games including an excellent 1-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu Stadium.

Real Betis have been hit and miss at home recently and their defensive record is a concern, but on their day they can bag plenty of goals, such as when they won 5-3 at Sevilla recently, and both teams are expected to get on the scoresheet in what should be an entertaining contest.

Alaves vs Celta Vigo – Away win @ 7/4 with William Hill (17:30 GMT)

Alaves continue to show the improvement that has lifted them out of the relegation zone, giving Barcelona a fright when they led for 49 minutes last weekend before losing 2-1, but Celta Vigo are having an excellent run on their travels and look worth siding with here.

The Sky Blues have won their last three league games away from home and also drew at Camp Nou in December, also holding Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Balaidos during January, and their greater quality is expected to hold sway here.

Real Madrid -2 on the handicap away to Levante @ 13/10 with Betfair Sportsbook (19:45 GMT)

Real’s confidence in this disappointing season for them will have been boosted by an excellent 4-1 win at Valencia last weekend, albeit it was harder work than the scoreline suggests, and we will back them to enjoy another comfortable victory on their return to the same city.

Levante have been on a poor run, losing four games in a row before their draw with relegation rivals Deportivo La Coruna, and although they held the European champions 1-1 in the reverse fixture they were in much stronger form back in the early weeks of the campaign.
