Kieran Trippier has seen his odds of switching to Napoli drift, with a switch to Atletico Madrid now the big favourite.

Kieran Tripper seems to be edging towards the door at Tottenham as he has come in from Evens to 1/4 to switch to Atletico Madrid with bookmaker Betway. The right-back has long been an apparent target of Napoli, but the former-favourites for his signature have now drifted out to 12/1, with Atleti the odds-on favourites now.

“Long-time favourites Napoli have drifted out of the equation for Kieran Trippier’s signature and the latest move in the betting is for Atletico Madrid. The Spanish club have been slashed to just 1/4 from evens this morning following rumours that a bid is about to be tabled,” Alan Alger of Betway told BettingPro.

“Juventus are pretty active in the window having recently swooped for Matthijs de Ligt, but the latest odds shift suggests they might not be going in for Trippier too. The Italian champions are out to 7/2 from 5/6 to sign the Spurs defender, while Napoli are now largely unfancied at 12/1.”

Betway – Football – Player Specials - Kieran Trippier club at end of summer transfer window:

Atletico Madrid - 1/4

Juventus - 7/2

Napoli - 12/1

Manchester United - 14/1

Everton - 16/1

BAR - 25/1
