Europa League qualifying predictions for Thursday night. Who will book their place in the third round of Europa League qualifying on Thursday night? Read on for all of our free predictions and betting tips.

Europa League Predictions

Mlada Boleslav v Shamrock Rovers (17:00 BST)

An added-time goal from Graham Burke means Shamrock Rovers are just one goal down heading into this second leg, but Mlada Boleslav did manage to score three goals in Ireland and that means they do have a major edge going into Thursday night. I expect the Czech side to complete the job here and having seen five goals in that first leg I have a feeling we will see a few more goals in the return meeting, with Shamrock grabbing some consolation in a losing effort.

AEK Larnaca v Cork City (18:00 BST)

AEK Lanarca put one foot in the next round with a 1-0 win in Ireland last week, and they will be expected to book their place in the third stage of qualifying when they entertain Cork City in the second leg. I am among those expecting the Cypriot side to run out winners on Thursday night.

Galatasaray v Ostersunds FK (18:30 BST)

Just like the bookmakers I was expecting Galatasaray to get the better of Ostersunds FK when they visited the Swedish side a week ago, so it was quite the surprise when the Turkish giants crashed to a 2-0 defeat that has them on the brink of bowing out of this competition. I expect them to get their revenge when they play host to Ostersunds FK in the return leg, and I expect them to win by a couple of goals to give themselves a chance at advancing to the next round.

Utrecht v Valletta (18:30 BST)

A goalless draw in the first leg of this tie was hardly an Earth-shattering result for Utrecht, but what it did do was ensure they are on level terms when they entertain Valletta in the second leg on Thursday night. It has, however, put them in a precarious position because an away goal could put them in serious danger of exiting the Europa League before the group stage – so the good news for them is I do not expect them to concede. I am backing Utrecht to win a low-scoring encounter.

KR Reykjavik v Maccabi Tel Aviv (20:15 BST)

Maccabi Tel Aviv took a big step towards the next round with a 3-1 first-leg win when they entertained KR Reykjavik a week ago, and the bookies are backing them to complete the job by winning the second leg. They do not need to win this match though and for that reason I recommend looking past the Match Betting market and backing goals instead. There were four in the first meeting and we could see at least three more here.
