Looking to place a Europa League accumulator for Thursday night? Here are five reasons you why should back our 34/1 accumulator at Paddy Power, with the bookmaker refunding losings stake if one leg of this bet lets us down.

5 Reasons Why You Should Back Our Europa League Accumulator

Borussia Dortmund to beat Atalanta – Borussia Dortmund dropped into this competition after finishing behind Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in their Champions League group, and they were immediately placed among the frontrunners in the outright market for the Europa League. Standing between them and the last-16 are Italian side Atalanta and I expect Dortmund to draw first blood in the home leg of this two-legged tie. Peter Stoger’s side have rediscovered that winning feeling with back-to-back success in the Bundesliga and they can make it three-in-a-row against an Atalanta side that have not been great travellers this season despite going unbeaten during the group stage of this competition.

AC Milan to beat Ludogorets Razgrad – AC Milan go into this match on an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions that includes a couple of fine wins over the likes of Lazio and Inter Milan, and they will be eager to keep that sequence going because the Europa League does offer them their best route back into the Champions League. Their away form has not been the best this season, but they could benefit from facing a Ludogorets Razgrad side that could be rusty having not played a competitive game since mid-December.

Atletico Madrid to beat FC Copenhagen – Atletico Madrid have kept their slim La Liga title hopes alive with a three-match win streak, but if they are to lift silverware this season their best chance comes in the form of this competition. The bookmakers clearly feel that is the same too having installed them as the outright favourites, and I expect Diego Simeone’s side to live up to their ‘favourites’ tag by beating a Copenhagen side that made the most of a favourable draw in the group stage.

Lyon v Villarreal - Draw – Lyon’s push for a top-three finish in Ligue 1 has suffered a major setback with a three-match losing run, but this is a team that beat Paris St Germain only a couple of weeks ago so we know the quality they possess. They also made straightforward progress through the group stage of the Europa League, thrashing Everton and Apollon along the way, but they are now coming up against a Villarreal side that were unbeaten on their travels in the group stage, winning twice, and recently beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. I can see this match ending in a stalemate.

Napoli to beat RB Leipzig – Napoli will have been massively disappointed to bow out of the Champions League, but the Serie A leaders are already a favourite to go all the way in the Europa League and I am backing them to make a winning start to their campaign on Thursday night. Visitors RB Leipzig will be no pushover, but they lost two of their three away games in the group stage of the Champions League and their away record in the Bundesliga does not make for great reading either. Napoli, on the other hand, have been excellent at home this season so you have to fancy their chances of claiming a first-leg lead.

BONUS REASON: This accumulator bet is available to all customers so it pays out in cash (a £10 stake returns £358.59), and if one leg of the bet lets you down Paddy Power will refund your losing stake, up to £50, as a free bet.
