Eden Hazard could be pulling on a Chelsea jersey for the final time when they face Arsenal in the Europa League Final on May 29 – but will the Belgian bow out with a bang or will he leave with a whimper?

The subject of Hazard’s Stamford Bridge future has been one of football’s hottest topics over the past 12 months, with the Belgian fuelling the speculation with his public comments, and Chelsea fans had been hoping that the Blues’ transfer ban would result in the club standing firm in the face of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

However, it appears as though their dreams have been dashed with French newspaper L’Equipe reporting that a deal was reached “several weeks ago” and that the La Liga side will announce the £87million capture of Hazard following Chelsea’s Europa League Final showdown with Arsenal on May 29.

If this is true it means that the Europa League Final clash with Arsenal on May 29 will be the final time Hazard pulls on the famous all-blue strip – so how will he perform. Will he bow out in spectacular style or will his Chelsea career fizzle out in Baku?

Hazard will be key to Chelsea’s chances of lifting silverware in Azerbaijan and with that in mind bookmaker William Hill has gone 5/2 that the Belgian ace scores at anytime and his team win the final in 90 minutes.

It is 13/2 that he sets them on their way to victory and 13/2 that he completes a Chelsea win, while bookmaker is not ruling out the possibility of Hazard’s exploits not being enough against Arsenal, offering 14/1 that he scores as the Blues are beaten in 90 minutes by their London rivals.

Focusing solely on Hazard’s performance, odds of 4/1 are available for him to score the first goal of the Europa League Final, while you can get the same price for him to score the last goal and 7/5 that he nets anytime during the match.

William Hill is 9/1 that he signs off with a double, while it is 60/1 that he bows out in sensational style by becoming the first man to ever score a hat-trick in the Europa League Final.
