Two former Premier League heavyweights clash in Sunday's televised match as Norwich City host Sunderland at Carrow Road in the pick of the fixtures.

Big-spending Middlesbrough welcome newly-promoted Sheffield United to The Riverside on Saturday evening, while 3pm highlights include a new-look Wolves' trip to Derby County.

Two of last season's promoted League One clubs face off as Millwall meet Bolton, while promotion favourites Aston Villa face a tricky trip to Cardiff.

Championship fixtures (3pm KO unless stated)

Saturday August 12
Hull v Burton Albion
Brentford v Nottingham Forest
Cardiff v Aston Villa
Derby v Wolves
Birmingham v Bristol City
Leeds v Preston
Millwall v Bolton
Sheffield Wednesday v QPR
Barnsley v Ipswich
Reading v Fulham
Middlesbrough v Sheffield United (5.30pm)

Sunday August 13
Norwich v Sunderland (1.30pm)

Here are our top three bets:

Middlesbrough to win @ 10/11 with BetVictor

Garry Monk's Boro suffered a narrow opening day defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers and will be keen to register three points on home soil against Sheffield United.

United are hunting down their first victory at The Riverside for 20 years and have won just one of their last six meetings with Middlesbrough, scoring just three times in the process.

Middlesbrough's strong home form was integral to their automatic promotion place last time around and could play a key factor once again this season, particularly due to their rigid defence.

Boro's new faces will inevitably take time to gel, but on paper, they should have enough quality to get off and running with three points to restore some optimism on Teesside.

Wolves made an immediate statement of intent with an opening day win over Middlesbrough and will be out to sustain the momentum when they travel to Pride Park.

Derby were held to a 1-1 draw at Sunderland last Friday and like Wolves, will be quietly confident they can mount a serious promotion push this season.

This has been a fixture packed with goals in recent season, totalling 25 goals across their last six meetings since 2014, and this latest encounter should follow suit.

Both teams have found the net the last four times the two sides have met, and that appears the best bet once again given the attacking nature of the two teams.

Having narrowly missed out on promotion back to the big time in the last two seasons, Wednesday will be desperate to avoid having to endure the agony of the Play-Offs again this time around.

The Owls bounced back from a 1-0 defeat at Preston with a 4-1 rout of Chesterfield in the Carabao Cup in midweek and look to transfer that ruthless edge into their league meeting with QPR at Hillsborough.

Wednesday boast one of the strongest strike forces in the division, comprised of Gary Hooper, Jordan Rhodes and Fernando Forestieri, and will look to make it a long afternoon for the Rangers defence.

The hosts are undefeated in their last five matches against QPR in all competitions, and they offer good value to extend that run on Saturday.
