The 2019 Copa America continues on Tuesday night and we have looked over the fixtures to pick out our favourite bet from South America’s premier international football tournament.

Leigh Copson: Back Philippe Coutinho to score & Brazil to beat Venezuela @ 5/4 Coral

Despite being without Paris St German star Neymar due to injury, Brazil came into the 2019 Copa America as the bookmakers’ favourites and the remain at the head of the betting after a strong second-half showing lifted them to a 3-0 victory over Bolivia in their group stage opener. The Selecao will now look to make it two wins from two games, and book a spot in the quarter-finals, when they face an improving Venezuela side on Tuesday night.

The Venezuelans came into the tournament have pulled off surprise friendly wins over the United States and Argentina during the first half of the year, and they made a solid start to the Copa America as they held Peru to a goalless draw in their opener to put themselves in the mix for second place behind the Brazilians. But can we really expect them to follow up that positive result with another one against the favourites?

Brazil are a class above their opponents and that should be there for all to see as they run out winners in this Group A clash. Philippe Coutinho stepped up to fill the void left by Neymar’s absence as he netted a brace in their opener, and he is enjoying a little purple patch in front of goal for the national team having netted three times in his last two appearances. He should pose plenty of problems for the Venezuelans here and I would not be shocked to see him cap off another solid showing for the national team with a goal. Therefore I am backing him to make it at least four goals in three games for Brazil as they win the match and book their place in the knockout stage.
